The color is actually gold, rather than butter which I understand to be more of a yellow.

I wish I had purchased a couple others before they sold out! Nice polo.

Rated 4 out of 5 by ShopperSally SO soft!
These are so, so soft! I took away one star because I wish they were a little more fitted than now. If they were more fitted, I think these polos would be more flattering.

Rated 2 out of 5 by gigi2006 Love it....but
I have bought many of these shirts over the years and they have always been my favorites. However, they are now too long for me and they don't come in petite sizes. Sadly, I don't buy them anymore and won't until they get shorter or come in petites.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PersianEmpire inconsistent pattern
Overall I like these shirts. However, while the fit is perfect in the shoulders and sleeves, the bottom flairs out like a bell bottom a little too much to be fitted cut. It fits too much like a relaxed cut. I'm 5'5, 118 lbs and usually wear a size 6 so I ordered the S. An XS small wouldn't work since it would be too small in the upper body.

Rated 5 out of 5 by OutfittedbyLLBean This is the classic Bean's Polo
I have relied on these shirts for years, wearing them until they're threadbare, at which point they become workshirts. Since I moved to this always-warm climate some years back they've become even more important. They are half of my daily "uniform". Tragically, for a few years they disappeared from Bean's catalogue during a period when Beans seems to have succumbed to the clothing-that-clings rage.
So I was relieved when these arrived! They're back! My "uniform" will not have to change in the future! These are also the nice, solid mesh cotton with the banded sleeves and collar!
However, I do have a complaint. They have changed the name of the fit, and I must protest! This is not a "relaxed fit" polo, it is the size and shape polo that Bean's has always sold. Please, LL Bean, drop the "relaxed fit" and call those other things the "cling to your body and advertise every flaw you have" fit!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Belmondo Great fitting shirt
I recently recieved the three shirts in size Small and they fit perfectly. I'm 5'8" 120 pounds. They are perfect at the shoulder line and maintain their shape through washer and dryer (on low temp). These are perfect for golf here in Florida in the spring and fall. Last year I bought the long-sleeve versions and they also wash and dry without shrinking.

Rated 3 out of 5 by DisplacedMaineGirl What? No Navy Blue in Plus Sizes Anymore?
Have bought this shirt for years in many colors. Always buy the 1X size just so it can be thrown in any dryer including laudromat dryers that tend to run too hot, and never shrink. Now I see that the color selection for the Plus Sizes is just awful. Please offer the polo shirts in the same colors, regardless of size. Would have given this shirt a 5 star rating if I could have once again purchased the size and color I wanted.

Rated 4 out of 5 by SciFi I love the colors but still runs small
The sage and peacook blue colors are great! Ordered both. I had to go up one size to get the fit I wanted as they run small. LLBEan has had a couple of different polo styles this year at the local outlet store. (it is amazing how many smalls and mediums are returned and sold at the outlet store,) I finally ened up ordering this style becuase the other styles are more fitted, tapered and have shorter sleeves. This is the closest one to the orginal LLBean polo that used to exist 10 years ago. I still would really like if LLbean sold a polo that had hemmed not handed sleeves as they used t.
