I should have read the other reviews before ordering. The quality of the fabric and the colors are great. Love the radiant blue! However, I agree with others that the sizing is way off. I have two of these (five-button placket) from a few years back, and in late March 2013 ordered two more in the same size. Wrong. The "new" size Small is 3 inches longer and 4 inches wider than the older version. I could use these as sleeveless maternity tops! Extremely disappointed in the sizing - and not worth the cost to, once again, have new clothes altered to fit. At least I ordered via my LLBean Visa, so no cost to me for return shipping. That saved me $$6.50.

This sleeveless polo is beautiful, but it does not fit. The armholes are huge. I ordered a different sleeveless polo from LLBean at the same time I ordered this. The armholes are fine on that shirt. This polo I will have to return.

What happened to the armholes in 2012? These shirts are durable, comfortable, colorfast and, until this year, fit well . Why is it so hard to hold on to a good thing? It seems as though they are being phased out as there has been no new stock for several months. Too bad, since it's hard to find sleeveless polos.

Ordered 5 shirts and am sending back three of them. The arm holes of two of them fit well and the three I am returning have arm holes that are at least two inches larger and gap terribly. Who is making your shirts now ? I would think if I ordered 5 shirts and the only variation was the color that they should all fit the same. What has happened to quality control at LL Bean? Very disappointed to have to return half of the shirts I ordered for poor fit.

These wash up just as nicely as all other Bean polos, but the arm holes are huge! I altered them, so they're not as bad, but still gape toward the front as the day progresses. What a disappointment, because I love the look of a sleeveless polo.

I've ordered these shirts before and always loved them. I ordered 2 recently and had to return them. They were HUGE (even though I ordered the same size I had ordered in the past). Why change a good thing LL Bean???? Go back to the way they were made in the past.

I ordered 8 of the sleeveless polo shirts for golf. Love the color, length and general overall fit EXCEPT for the armholes. They are enormous and show almost all of my bra on the sides. The holes look to be twice the size they should be....very disappointing.

These were my summer staples for years. I just ordered several for this season and the fit has changed drastically. I agree with others that the armholes just GAPE. I cannot imagine what figure type this style would flatter. They have been returned. Now for the dreadful task of finding a replacement for a old favorite.

These are my go to hot weather shirts. Two years ago the ones I ordered fit more like a M instead of a L across the bust. Last season the L fit true to size (almost 1" wider laying the new fit on top of the old fit so 2" total wider!) Since this style is sleeveless I order my true size according to the size charts, a L. Length is just like the Relaxed fit short sleeve polo. This is 2" longer after washing than same style from LLBean from 4 seasons back. Longer is better but it isn't too long. Just above low hip.
After washing in cold and tumble dry low no shrinkage. The colors are beautiful. I wish a light spring green color would come back verses the darker dull field green and I would also prefer a red offering. Oh well I can always hope.

For 3 decades I wore hardly anything that wasn't from LLB, but for the last few years nothing fits right or consistently from order to order or color to color. Here is a perfect shirt -- except the armholes reveal most of my bra band. I am thin & small busted but the SMALL seems otherwise a fine fit. Also, in Green Tea shipped Dec 2011, the wide armbands stick straight out and look horrible. I should have believed the dozens of reviewers who warned of this. Note to self: always order the reviews with low ratings first!!!
