This trench is just what I was looking for, style-wise. It is a bit looser on me than it is on the model in the photos. Also, the photos make the tan colour seem darker than it is. I wish this coat was available in a darker tan, slate grey and black

Nice, lightweight, seems pretty water repellent, I'm pleased. A little baggier (on me at least) than in the photos but does what it needs to do. Construction seems solid, as usual. I bought a medium (5'10" 175 lbs) and the sleeves are long as noted by others but I view that as a positive in a raincoat to cover office wear. Recommended.

I had been looking for a while for a new trench and was looking for something that could be dressed up for work and if needed worn with jeans on the weekend. This jacket fulfilled the requirements perfectly. It has a very good fit and quality is typical LL Bean. I would definitely recommend this coat and the price is half of what the other trench coats that I was considering are going for.

Very happy with the Jacket. I typically wear 38s in Blazers and Jackets and small in shirts. This jacket fits well in the shoulders, which is critical. It's not too snug, which helps accommodate a suit jacket underneath the trench. If you are short like me, you might have to alter the body length or sleeve length. But on the whole, I like it.

I was looking for a new coat for springtime and had always wanted a "trench." Interestingly, the "Seinfeld" episode about the "executive" trench coat was on several days prior to my purchase and inspired me. Obviously, this piece of clothing is very well made and fits much better than traditional LLBean apparel I have purchased in the past with an updated, modern fit - snug in the shoulders, tucked in the waist, with good wrist and overall lengths for my frame. The quality of the material is excellent, the color is flattering, and I couldn't beat the price paid.

Great looking jacket, and I wish it fit better. Based on the sizing guide, I thought small would fit well. Alas, it was a little too long in the sleeves and a touch too big in the chest. Unfortunately, it had to go back.

This is a great simply styled addition to the wardrobe for rainy or balmy days. Sleeves fit great for a guy with 36" sleeves in dress shirts.

I just received this coat, but because of the unusually warm winter where I live, I've had the chance to wear it a few times. Otherwise, it's definitely a 3-season trench, which is exactly what I needed. It has a classic cut, excellent proportions (I'm 5'6"), and is handsomely tailored. The sleeve length - as noted by a few other reviewers - was not an issue for me; it's spot on. LL Bean's quality exceeds expectations, especially at this price.

I Looked a very long time for a trench like this...I could not be happier with it. The fabric is quality, the partial lining is a colorful twist on the basic... the cut is tailored and fits true to size. Perfect....

I purchased this coat to wear in the spring and summer rains when I'm walking from the train to the office.
It looks very sharp with dress clothes and is not overly warm.
The outside material is very soft and while it doesn't completely repel rain, I have yet to have water soak through to my clothes.
I am 6' 210lbs and the large fits me perfectly.
