These boots have great style and so far have kept me dry. My only concern is the shoe laces--the first time I laced them up the laces "split", if you will, revealing the white underneath. Not too impressed with that. But everything else seems fine.

I am a size 10.5 and I bought the 10's. I wore them a few times and they were just too big. I ended up returning them for the 9's and they fit perfectly. They are a very light and fashionable boot. WEar them in the city or out in the woods!

These boots are very comfortable and keep your feet dry and warm. I ordered the half size down and they are a little roomy with regular socks. I liked them so much I ordered my son a pair for Christmas. He loves them too!

Aestethic The Amazing Boot
Oh my goodness. These shoes not only look good, but they feel good. Be warned however, the green in the pictures are darker than they appeared, which is perfect for me( think... Forest/Hunter Green) They are rather comfortable, as I bought my exact shoe size as LL Bean Signatures have a different fit. This is my second Signature purchase and most definitely, it will not be the last.

Boot is great I love them. Not sure I like the green color that I got but apart from that they fit great. My only issue is that the laces fell apart in like 20 days. In true LLbean style I had a new pair of laces in my hands within 2 days. We'll see how they hold up.

I got a pair of these for Christmas and I love them. I live in San Francisco and these boots are great for tromping around. The rainy season is finally going to start so I am very happy to have these boots. They aren't lying when they say buy a size smaller. I am usually an 8 across the board so I got the 7 and even with heavy wool socks they are a little loose, but still comfortable. One problem I had is the fabric on top of the insole started to come off, I emailed customer service and quickly got a response that they would send me new insoles (All of this at 11pm PST!!!). Great boots and great customer service, L.L. Bean has a new customer for life.

I was so excited to see these boots - my grandfather had the originals many, many years ago, which I inherited and finally wore out - hard to do with Bean's stuff. They're very comfortable, and I don't even have to use the laces, they fit that well. Plus their historical significance to me really adds to their value. I applaud LLBean for bringing back a timeless style.
What has really endeared me to LLBean is that some odd things had happened with the shipping, a possible postal accident that resulted in only one boot arriving. But customer service was only too happy to resolve the problem with nary a hassle and sent me two new boots, and joined me in a good laugh about the whole thing.

I really liked the style of these boots from the moment I saw them pop up on my browser. I pulled the trigger quickly on the Deep Forest Green color because I liked the way it looked online in one of the pictures.
The color wasn't exactly what I had expected and at first I thought I was sent the Navy blue color. The green is very dark. Overall I was impressed with the style. The laces were very cool and were definitely green (the color I thought the boots would be).
I am normally a 9.5 and per the site instructions I order an 8. This was a snug fit for me with a regular sock and even more snug with thicker socks. I wore them one day and my feet sort of hurt in them and I also noticed the laces were broken. The outer color lace looked cracked and the white inside filling was coming out. I contacted bean and explained by lace situation and I was sent a new pair of boots. I decided on trying a 9 this time because the 8 was a bit too snug. The 9 feels too big even with thick socks.
I wore them one day and the back of my feet were sore from my foot moving inside the boot too much I think. I also noticed the same issue with the laces on this boot as well. I'm disappointed with all of it but the boot is really cool and I love the look.
I'm thinking of maybe buying an extra padding for the inside of the shoe so that maybe my foot will fit more snug and not be so loose. The laces can't be purchased on bean so I guess I'm beat with broken laces that will probably have to be replaced with a regular black lace very soon.
I have debated sending them back but I really like them I just wish I could say I loved them.

I am a long time & very dedicated LLBean fan. From socks to shirts, sweaters, hunting boots, boots, etc., etc.
However these are made for no more than a light day in a dry park or maybe the beach. I wore these for a few hours while hunting Snipe & Woodcock this season. These birds are known for enjoying swampy, wet, low lying areas. With my two dogs pointing & bumping birds up, it was a fun hunt.
But these boots were quite simply 'destroyed'. The canvas separated from the rubber on both boots all around, my feet were soaking wet. I used Gorilla Glue to stick them back together.
Then, I broke down & called LLBean to set up a return.
Sorry LL, but these should not have them Maine Hunting Shoe associated with them at all. A regular LLBean Boot would hold up a thousand times better. These are light boots for summer...at most.
Hunters...keep away.
