My husband likes to wear a sweatsuit - almost year-round - following a daily workout. He needed a replacement for the one that was becoming frayed at the sleeve edges and showing overall wear. It was difficult to find a full-zip sweatshirt jacket that did NOT have a hood. Neither of us like hooded sweatshirts. I was delighted to find this one on the LL Bean site since the description appeared to be what he wanted. We were even more delighted when it arrived and fit the description to a 't'! BTW, the sizing is accurate too. Since it arrived he has worn it daily which means it has been thru the washer and dryer a few times. It is wearing very well and still looks like new after washing and drying!

This is my husband's third two piece sweat set from l.l. bean. Hard to imagine, but this is better than the other two; sturdy zipper, washes without shrinking, and retains shape. I'm going to order another set.

This was supposed to be tall but was very short in length. There has been a change, because I have two of these from a year ago that are tall in size.

Fits well and is comfortable. However, dye fades very fast after a few cold water washes.

I tried both jacket and pants in the athletic sweats for my husband following his back surgery. He wanted something that he didn't have to wear suspenders with, that had slash pockets which he prefers and was especially satisfied with the secure rear pocket. zippers on the pants leg made it easy to dress or undress without removing shoes. It washed well, did not shrink or pill and he always looked "put together" for Drs. visits or physical therapy. I have purchased 2 outfits and recommend them.

Fabric is heavy enough to be nice and warm but not bulky,fit very well would have liked it in the red color but could not get pants and top[jacket] both in red. Would really like if MADE IN USA

I love wearing 'hoodies,' but due to a recent surgery knew I wouldn't be able to pull a sweatshirt over my head for several weeks of recovery. This was a great alternative for a winter recovery in Wisconsin! Like a hoodie (same front pockets), without the hood, and without the pull-over. Super light, yet super warm. An excellent alternative... I would certainly recommend this product to others!

I bought this jacket to walk the dogs on chilly fall and spring mornings. It's perfect for that. It's a good, heavy, soft sweatshirt material. The zipper seems sturdy. I like that it zips all the way up the collar.
I am a woman and wanted a zip up sweatshirt with no hood and this was the only one I could find. I went back forth on whether to get a Small or Medium and went with a small which turned out to be a good choice unless there is a lot of shrinkage. I'm not expecting there to be.
