I purchased 2 of these skirts. One white & one Nautical red, which is actually more of a muted dusty rose color. The skirt is extremely comfortable, and is great to wear when traveling. I wish it was a little shorter. I'm 5'3" and it falls at my knee caps. I woould buy this again, though.

I only bought one of these skirts because I wasn't sure if I would like the "elastic waistband". Now that I have worn the skirt, I just love it. They run a "little" big, so I've tried washing & drying but it does not shrink!!! It is a great length for "Petites".

I liked this skirt. I just got it this week.I was a little apprehensive after reading the reviews. I did not want the skirt to go past my knees so I ordered a petite, although I never wear that size since I am a little over 5'6". It fit me perfectly and hits about 1 1/2 inches above
the knee. It is very light and will be perfect for the summer. It is a casual skirt and it does not have a lot of shape, but perfect for me!

this is a comfortable and stylish alternative to shorts or capris. It washes well and requires minimal ironing to look its best. I wear it with shirts and polos. Great purchase!

I bought two of these skirts in the petite length. They have been my go to outfits for the summer!!! I plan to order more colors if you will keep the shorter length and continue to offer it in the petite sizes. I did not like the longer length sunwashed canvas skirt nor the regular length in this skirt.
This skirt is cute and breezy for warm weather...so much more flattering than shorts and very comfortable!!! I am 63 years old and love the appropriate but youthful look of this skirt! PLEASE keep it and add more colors...like the chambry of the longer skirt as well maybe a loden green. Thanks LL Bean...love your customer service, quality, classic styles and attention to customer reviews!

I now have 2 of the same skirt in different colors. It is comfortable, easy to pack and has deep pockets which is good for travel.

The sunwashed canvas skirt is a very casual summer skirt. It does run large and the elastic waist helps to adjust the fit, depending on how high on the waist you wear it. I wear a 10 petite and the petite medium was huge on me. The petite small did fit but was a little snug in the hips. The petite length was stylish and flattering (way above knee at 19 inches long). Unlike a lot of reviewers, I found the elastic waist to be unflattering, especially from the back, as it did bunch up at the lower back on me. The dark khaki though is a very nice medium color that is neutral and goes with everything. Whatever happened to all the Bean adjustable waistbands that had buttons for a custom fit? That would be much more attractive than a elastic waist with drawstring.

For some reason, I didn't notice this skirt came in both petite and regular lengths. I first bought it in regular and was dismayed at how long it was! I am 5'4 and this came to my mid-calf. I was planning on hemming it up. My sister noticed it was on sale, and she wanted to buy one, too.. that's when I noticed it also comes in petite. I convinced her (she's 5'8) to take my original skirt (it fit her perfectly, just below the knees) and I ordered the petite. It was AMAZING the difference in length. It has to be at least 4 inches shorter. But that's ok... it was perfect for me. I'm so glad I noticed the petite before I altered the first one. I think this is going to be a really comfortable skirt for the summer and even fall. But you should also know that the red is definitely not as deep as the color shown online. It's much more of a pinky coral. I still really like it (and it's much more summery), but it wasn't what I expected.

I first purchased this skirt in white. I had to return it, because it was very sheer. Every detail of my underwear showed through!
Exchanged for the Bright Navy and am very happy with it. Very comfortable and falls right at my knee. (I am 5'2").

This is made of excellent material and is very flattering for an elastic waisted skirt. They usually make you look kinda chubby or frumpy..but not this one..it is cute and classy. Washed well too!
