Gave this to my daughter for her countless camping trips. She is tall and the extra length makes sleeping more comfortable. A paramedic by profession, she appreciates the quality of the product.

I bought this for my daughter for ther birthday in raspberry. She is a nurse on 12-hr. night shifts. She often "roams" during the day, sleeping at more than one location in the house. It's cold in NE Ohio, and having cozy portable bedding is handy. Pink color keeps her son from "borrowing". She's tall, and it fits her fine. Got the pillow, too.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MinnesotaMinivanMom Nice Bags!
I purchased three of these for my children this year. So far, we've only camped out in the living room but the sleeping bags feel durable and well-put together. The bags are the right size and the monograms are very nice. Zippers are easy to close, like the tab over (zipper) on the head end. The plastic buckles are very nice so no tying after the kids roll their own bag! The straps can be cinched to tighten the roll and fit into the roomy carrying bag. I am very satisfied with this purchase as these sleeping bags fluffed right up and feel very warm.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Tedder Cozy and warm, but not 20 degrees
This sleeping bag is equal to the cozy and warm flannel bags of my youth. The flannel is soft and the length is long. An excellent detail of construction, the zipper is excellent, at least after I used it a few times. In general, the bag is very well made.
Last night, outside temperature was in the thirties, and in my berth in the boat cabin, it was probably forty. I slept very warm, although I had to wear full long johns and use a supplementary blanket. However, I doubt that the bag could really be used at twenty degrees without considerable extra covers.

We purchased two of the 20 degree bags this year. We have had many sleeping bags in the past, but this sleeping bag is by far our favorite. Very high build quality and most of all, you can easliy roll the bag up and without any problems, put the bag in the supplied carry bag, I would recommend this bag highly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by angelhelp Comfy snuggly toastiness
The title says it all: this bag is a bundle of comfy snuggly toastiness. I prefer a rectangular bag like this one because I like to move my legs and feet when I sleep. The flannel lining gives it the perfect level of comfy snuggliness. The fill and the flannel both conserve just the right amount of body warmth to make me feel cocooned, not overheated.

I bought this at the local LLBean store in my town and I'm glad I did. I'm not sure why some people think that it isn't lined with "real" flannel. There seems to be much confusion regarding what is "real flannel" nowadays. I know that mine was made authentically.
Is flannel warm? No - the only thing producing heat in a sleeping bag is YOU. The bag traps your radiating body heat, creating dead air space all around you.
The flannel lining is well made and very comfortable, and the nylon outer shell repels moisture. The insulation does it's job - you will be nice and toasty in the outdoors during the chill months. Overall, this a great quality sleeping bag. It could only get better if the insulation was thicker (giving it an even lower temp rating) and comprised of down.
And please remember, it is best that you put some sleeping pads under your bag, especially during winter. You will be much warmer and more comfortable than you would be without the added insulation. The more pads you put under your bag, the warmer you'll be.
I give this sleeping bag 5 stars ;).
Thank you, LL Bean :D.

I bought two of these 20 Degree sleeping bags for a recent camping trip. The weather was predicted to go into the low 30s at night (and did, indeed, go down to as low as 30). I was very worried about the cold, as I had my 9-year-old daughter with me. We were in platform tents, and both of us, in our L.L. Bean Camp Sleeping Bags (Flannel-Lined Regular 20 degrees) were not cold. I love buying something that actually works and does what it says it will do. Would definitely recommend this product.
