Rated 2 out of 5 by Hamburgs Nice looking, but too thin and wears out.
I've always had great experience w/ Bean sweaters. This one fits well and looks great; but I lean on my elbows at work alot and, after only a few winters of wearing it about once a week, I have a 1-2" hole in one of the elbows.
I've had other Bean sweaters for 20 years w/ the same wear pattern and this has never happened. For $70, it ought to be way better made than that!

Rated 5 out of 5 by WelshTerrierFan Very nice sweaters
I bought one of these for my husband and one for a gift, both were very pleased, not too heavy which is great for Texas winters! True to size and the color was nice (the forest green). Great sweater for the price!

Rated 1 out of 5 by NAS1 runs smaller than past sweaters of the same fabric
The quality was actually nice, but I rated it "poor" because it didn't fit my husband who has several other LLBean lambswool v-necks. This year's item is narrower and shorter than when we purchased same-size lambswool v-necks in the past.

These sweaters lost their shape after being only slightly worn. We are returning both of them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by silvermike excellent product
These sweaters are very well made, and excellently priced. I own four, and would gladly get more if only they were offered in the following colors: logan; dark brown. Are you listening LLBean?

Rated 3 out of 5 by micromano Decent quality, but overpriced and oversized
I was looking for a good value in a traditional wool sweater. I have a few cashmere dress sweaters, but was looking for a more durable casual/daily-wear sweater. Thin, long-armed, and 6'1", I ordered the "tall" version. It has decent length in the arms, but the torso is comically long. Usually, "tall" sizing is for people who are tall with long legs. I'd say this "tall" size is better for people with unusually long torsos. The sweater is of decent quality, but it's about 50% more expensive than it should be given that it's fairly thin material and made in China. I'm returning the item and picking up an alternative locally.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MerryTexan Handsome, well made classic
I bought this sweater for my husband in dark camel and I love the way it looks on him. The saddle shoulders mean it fits nicely regardless of how broad one's shoulders are. He just wore it all over a trip through the Andes and looked great everywhere we went. He says it's nice and warm and though I haven't washed it yet, it shows no signs of pilling. Would definitely recommend!

Rated 5 out of 5 by rmitch Attractive traditional sweater
My husband was very pleased with the style, color and quality of this sweater. He dresses conservatively, but needs a slightly dressy casual look now that he is retired. This sweater is perfect for him.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Nebraska Great Value
This is the third LL Bean Lambswool V-Neck Sweater I have purchased over the past few years. LL Beans offer is the best compared to what you can find from others. Great price, great quality, great customer service, an overall great value.

I wanted the freeport v neck I bought last year, which was an 80% lambswool/20% nylon blend. Thicker and holds it's shape better. I returned this one. Bring back the blend.
