Rated 4 out of 5 Nice jacket
Warm, generously sized. Like the waterproof lower sleeves. Doesn't hang up on my gun when mounting. One suggestion for improvement would be a drawstring around the waist.

The manufacturing quality of this jacket is very high, no question about it. If you are tall, though, the light gray fabric around the trunk goes up very high on your chest and may stick out from your waders by quite a bit. I sent this back because it seemed like the exposed fleece would both catch a lot of debris and absorb water if it rains. I would have really liked this jacket if thethe smooth camo fabric were extended a few inches further below the armpits.

Rated 5 out of 5áby FrenchBulldogLover wonderful jacket
I went to the LL Bean store in Maine, saw this fleece and had to buy it. I'm a female hunter, the small is a little big but its very comfy. I bought this for a good quality fall coat and love it. The sleeves reallly are waterproof up to the elbow. This is soft, warm, and great quality. Also the zippers are good quality. I highly recommend this for back country style as well as function.

Rated 4 out of 5áby FourElks Jacket Needs Waist Drawcord
This is a good jacket. The fit was perfect and I really like the waterproof sleeve fabric. The only suggestion I have, and it was suggested by another reviewer, is that the jacket needs a waist drawcord to tighten the waist (or bottom of the jacket). The jacket needs to fit snug against the waist while hunting or walking through weeds and brush. Otherwise, I would have given a five star rating.

Rated 4 out of 5áby RanfurlyRob A light multifunctional jacket
I just purchased this jacket and will know more in time. That said, the jacket seems to block wind and provide ample warmth for hikes, etc in the 20 degree plus range. Additionally, there is enough room underneath for appropriate base layer(s). I believe the waterproof sleeves will serve well for retrieveing flies, decoys, etc. Looks nice!

A great early season jacket - if the temps dip below 40 - duck hunting weather - you will need to layer over it - otherwise, fantastic!

Rated 5 out of 5áby camo624 great gift
I got this for my fiance, who is an avid waterfowl hunter. He's been looking for a jacket like this to wear under his waders. He loves it, it's warm, keeps him dry, fits him well, and he can wear it as a regular fleece out and about. He also likes that it isn't the same wader jacket that every other friend of his has!

It was love at first sight when I saw this jacket in the Hunting Catalog. After weeks of internal debate, I finally broke down and made the purchase. My hesitation was that I'm an avid deer hunter and wasn't sure if this product made sense for me. After an intense week of hunting the northern Maine woods recently, it definitely makes sense and I'm thrilled to have it.
It's extremely comfortable and, when properly layered, can be very warm for those cool mornings or lighter weight for those afternoon still hunts. The front waist pockets are deep and inviting when the hands get cold. The smaller breast pocket is perfect for a cell phone or GPS unit. I like how you can zip it all the way up in front and wear it like a comfy old turtleneck.
I have also received many compliments while wearing it around town (grocery shopping, kids' games, etc.).
A great product!

áby MTCougs Lacks Some Functionality
There are many things I liked about this jacket and a few things that need work. Since September I've used it for waterfowl, antelope, deer and elk. The jacket looks great - very sharp. A size Medium fit me and I'm 6 foot, 190#, size 33 and the arm length and chest were good.
The waterproof arms and velcro cuffs were nice but there's no ventilation and it is too easy to over-heat. Walking at a gentle pace my undergarments became saturated every time. Zippered vents under the arms would help. The bottom of the jacket could use a draw cord to cinch it tighter. It's very spacious at the bottom and catches on limbs, brush, etc. The fleece material they used catches every grass and weed seed out there like a magnet. There are similar fleece-like materials out there that may not pick up so much debris.
Bottom line, this isn't a versatile jacket. If you only put in on once you get to your blind and don't walk around, I think it'll do the job.
