Rated 1 out of 5áby spiller Waterproof Patridge Gloves
Ordered a medium because every other glove I own is medium and fits well. This glove ran small, too small for me. Also I noticed when pulling my hand out of the glove, the liner came out with it. Why these liners are not stiched into the fingers I will never know. I wont own a glove that does that with the liner.

These are very nice gloves for their intended purpose, which is good manual dexterity when shooting (or photographing in my case). I had to return mine because they seem to be sized for longer thinner hands then mine. I tried on a Large at the store and it was too tight across the knuckles. Strange because large is my usual glove size. So I ordered XLarge and they fit the palm of my hand perfectly, but the fingers were almost 1/2" too long.
So, an excellent glove for the purpose---but try them on. Of course it's Bean's, so you can always return them. Love this store.

Rated 4 out of 5áby JustinH nice, but small
I really like the style and the feel of the gloves, but despite ordering a size larger than I thought I would need, they are too small around the base of the finger. The finger length is fine, and fit around the palms is fine as well.
So I will exchange for a larger size, but still I was surprised that the XL size was so small (my hand measures 9.5" based on their advised system).

I love these gloves. They are a good glove for cool weather and when it is wet. They are too warm for early season, but then again, that's when I wear the regular Pa'tridge gloves. These gloves allow me to feel my shotgun while I am wearing them. LLBean makes some of the very best upland hunting products on the market now.

Rated 1 out of 5áby jetdog not made for a thumb safety
The fit and material get high praise from me. Then I used the gloves for the first time on a frosty morning grouse hunt. I discovered rather quickly that the lining material moves separately from the leather thumb and could not get my safety off on my o/u. Played with the problem thinking It was the heat of the moment. Nope, had to really work to get the safety off and extremely difficult to get the safety back on. These gloves are dressy enough and soft enough for casual wear but I don't recommend them for hunting especially "Pa'tridge" hunting. I'm sending them back and exchanging for an unlined pair. Hope they will meet my needs, even if my hands may get wet.

Rated 4 out of 5áby Damion just what I wanted
I wanted a waterproof work glove which could stand up to hard usage and provide a sensitive grip when needed. This glove delivered.
However, the stitching started to unravel on the right thumb area. I had it repaired which maintained the gore tex...just didn't look that good. Then I tore a hole in the gore tex on right index finger. That was the end of the waterproofing. I am now ordering another pair. I would have preferred a more durable glove but then I would probably lose sensitivity, so it is a trade off. Nevertheless, I could find no other glove like these on the internet.

I got these gloves as a christmas gift but had been lloking at ordering them for some time. I like them due to the fact that they are leather and you can bend your fingers. Something not all leather gloves have. The fabric is strong and grips very well. Ive so far used them to go hunting twice and to work on my car. Everytime out in below freezing weather. They wernt the warmest gloves but being able to work fine tools and machinery in the cold with them on is allmost priceless. I would recomend them to anyone who wants to protect there hands and not sacrafice dextarity.

I've hunted twice with these gloves and they are a good 'cool weather' glove - not cold weather glove. They handle the multi-flora rosebuses well and have gotten 'nicked up' but not 'trashed'. They could be bit tighter - I missed an easy opportunity on a grouse because of fumbling with the Safety. Make certain to order a snug fitting size.
I shoot left handed and there is a smooth index finger on both gloves - nice touch.
