Beautiful, well made glove but too small. A size medium fits a ladies hand perfectly, only fingers are too long.
Sent them back. Would recommend to order two sizes up for a man.

Received my order today. Obviously have not worn out in the elements yet. Previous reviews indicated they fit tight, so instead of my usual medium, I ordered the large size. The large is still tight on my hand, but very wearable. Being leather, I will assume they will loosen up a little with wearing. Soft leather, good "feel" for shotgun, and good looking. Would also assume they will have warmth on cold days, but not necessarily on extremely cold days in the woods. At this time I am very pleased with my purchase, and have already recommended them to a hunting partner. Would have given them a 5 star rating had the liners been sown into the fingers. On sale currently, also had an additional 20% off, and free shipping. What's not to like?

These gloves fit a little tight. I measured my hand and got the correct size but they are snug. Other than that, they look really good and the leather seems to be very good. Haven't gotten them wet so who knows if they are really water proof.

I brought my new gloves on a recent hunting trip. In general they did the job but after hunting in the rain and then pulling them off, the liner comes out of the gloves! The design needs to change and attach the liner to the inside of the glove so this doesn't happen. Otherwise, great fit, great flexibility and great dexterity. But I wouldn't recommend until this issue is fixed.

Ordered a medium because every other glove I own is medium and fits well. This glove ran small, too small for me. Also I noticed when pulling my hand out of the glove, the liner came out with it. Why these liners are not stiched into the fingers I will never know. I wont own a glove that does that with the liner.

These are very nice gloves for their intended purpose, which is good manual dexterity when shooting (or photographing in my case). I had to return mine because they seem to be sized for longer thinner hands then mine. I tried on a Large at the store and it was too tight across the knuckles. Strange because large is my usual glove size. So I ordered XLarge and they fit the palm of my hand perfectly, but the fingers were almost 1/2" too long.
So, an excellent glove for the purpose---but try them on. Of course it's Bean's, so you can always return them. Love this store.

Rated 4 out of 5áby JustinH nice, but small
I really like the style and the feel of the gloves, but despite ordering a size larger than I thought I would need, they are too small around the base of the finger. The finger length is fine, and fit around the palms is fine as well.
So I will exchange for a larger size, but still I was surprised that the XL size was so small (my hand measures 9.5" based on their advised system).

I love these gloves. They are a good glove for cool weather and when it is wet. They are too warm for early season, but then again, that's when I wear the regular Pa'tridge gloves. These gloves allow me to feel my shotgun while I am wearing them. LLBean makes some of the very best upland hunting products on the market now.

Rated 1 out of 5áby jetdog not made for a thumb safety
The fit and material get high praise from me. Then I used the gloves for the first time on a frosty morning grouse hunt. I discovered rather quickly that the lining material moves separately from the leather thumb and could not get my safety off on my o/u. Played with the problem thinking It was the heat of the moment. Nope, had to really work to get the safety off and extremely difficult to get the safety back on. These gloves are dressy enough and soft enough for casual wear but I don't recommend them for hunting especially "Pa'tridge" hunting. I'm sending them back and exchanging for an unlined pair. Hope they will meet my needs, even if my hands may get wet.
