Rated 5 out of 5 by Eenieeenieeenie They are waterproof!!
Used once, but seem to be comfortable and kept my husband dry.

Rated 4 out of 5 by CyclingCommuter As expected
This is a fine pair of pants for the price point. As other reviewers have said, they do not breathe very well (nor do they advertise to), so I would probably not recommend them for longer rides, but they are fine for my relatively short commutes to and from work. They are lightweight, they keep the rain out, and the hook-and-loop feature along the calves/ankles safely keeps them away from the chain. As with most cycling gear, order a size up from your regular clothes for a proper fit.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LGNY77 Misleading size chart
ordered a medium based on my waist measurement, 34, and the size chart. I am 6'4" and was nervous about the unmentioned length. When they arrived, they would have been perfect for a petite woman. I had to return them. I'm currently waiting on an XL.

Rated 2 out of 5 by jrlee These are emergency rain pants
Showers Pass has a line of rain pants. Showers Pass describes these as emergency rain pants and unlike their pricier models makes no claim on their being breathable. Showers Pass does not pair these pants with the Showers Pass Club Pro jacket also offered by llbean.

I haven't wore these pants in the rain but I think that it will provide all the coverage I need.

I used this a couple times on my 10k Volkssport walks and decided they are not going to work for me. The issue is you can't take them on and off without removing your boots. If you are walking with a group you are holding everyone up while you are spending a lot of time taking them off.
I bought another brand's rain pants that has a zipper that expand the bottom of the pants.

Rated 4 out of 5 by klnewhamp sizing chart is way off
I'm glad I ordered the XL size. I am 6'-2" , 190#. The length is great, but the waste is pretty snug. Hard to put them on over a pair of blue jeans if you were out for a casual bike ride.

Rated 2 out of 5 by trjl Great Cycling pants, but you SWEAT on inside
This pants keep you dry on the outside, but you sweat on the inside. This pants would be good for Cycling if they breathed and they run on the small size. The straps at the bottom of legs are good to keep away from the chain. I've got to send them back to LL Bean and try to find a pair of cycling pants that are breathable.

The sizes run very small. Purchase the next full size up. It sounds silly, but it's true.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sharp9 Good pants
I haven't really put these pants through their paces yet, but I have had them out on a cool windy day with tights underneath. They are long and have a small waist. I have a 36 waist, and they are snug. I wouldn't try to wear them over street clothes. The long length was a plus on the bike. Warm ankles. Good velcro straps around the ankles keep the pants from flapping. They keep out the wind well. I'll know more about water later. I think these would be very good to have along for changing weather conditions. I'm 5'9" and 200 lb. I squeeze into the large. The medium waist would be way too small.
