First time using this type of product. not one for clothing that has a snug fit, but was VERY surprised on how it worked!! Temp was in the high 40's and windy. the pants kept me very warm. Even though the pants are a snug fitting product I didn't have a problem ridding. Very pleased with the pants and how warm they kept me. Make sure you wash them before first time use.

Very well made but they should offer various inseam lengths. I find that in the large, I have to ripple the leggings so they fit properly. I am 175# and 5'11'' but I guess I am short relative to inseam and they are lonnggg.
Since LLBean also focuses a lot on biking; I would have expected a padded seat option. I could not find one. So I wear my LLBean bike shorts underneath my new tights.

Just what the wife and I have been looking for! Follow the size guide to get a good fit, nice texture, great feel and fit. Are awesome for fall/winter/spring running, hiking and or walking. We have been looking for just such a pant.

I wore them for the first time during my morning run. The temperature was about 32 degrees with no wind. Although they are snug-fitting, they provided good support for my legs without constricting movement. The material is medium weight, and the compression is medium and comfortable. If you want stronger compression and a heavier-weight material (which I prefer during windy or rainy runs), you'll need to look for another style and design. My legs stayed warm throughout the entire run and during the cool-down period afterwards. The mesh ventilation panels in the back behind the knees are a nice touch and helped reduce sweat. The zippers at the ankles made it easy to get them on and off. I'm about 5'8" and 155 lbs and the medium fits just fine. There is a handy, small inside key pocket at the waist, and a back zipper pocket. They thought of everything when they designed these tights. I will likely use these for cycling as well when spring comes.
