Bought the entire set---fitted and flat sheets, and pillow cases. Great, comfortable sheets for San Francisco's cool weather. Washes well. No pilling. Has deep pockets---covers my thick, full sized mattress which also has a form layering and a feather topper on top of it. Plan to purchase another set in the future.

I bought these sheets in Pale Moss last autumn and after a few launderings they faded in ugly blotches - both sheets and pillowcases now have large yellowish patches. The fabric feels more like ultrasuede than flannelette but aside from the colour issue, they wash well, although they do take longer to dry than regular flannel sheets. I am returning them after consulting with an L.L. Bean customer service agent as the colour loss is most unsatisfactory.

Purchased the white queen fitted, flat, and pillow covers.These flannel sheets are well worth the extra expense. They are very soft and warm. Perfect for winter in Indiana; no more getting into a cold bed. With the supima cotton, they wash very well (no pilling). Very, very pleased with this purchase!

I bought the fitted sheet and matching pillow cases when they were on sale. Best flannel sheet I ever owned. They are extremely soft and warm, perfect for cold winter days. I wash them every other week and so far they hold up great. I am seriously considering buying another set. Wish LLBean makes the same set in patterns other than flowers. I would love to have a set for my son.

These are wonderful, soft, warm, and well-made. Mom was right to say Portuguese flannel is best, and she would've approved of these quality sheets. Hope LL Bean will continue to carry them, and I'd buy another set. I usually like to see and handle a product, and don't buy too much online, even with liberal exchange/refund policies, but took a chance on these and am very glad that I did.

I've been avoiding purchasing flannel sheets for years but, this year, it was so cold and damp that I finally gave in.
These sheets are soft, warm and just beautiful, (I purchased the Bluegrass in the "better" quality) and they are all I expected.
The fitted one had a flaw and so I exchanged it. For the price I paid I didn't feel I should accept a flaw although it probably wouldn't have affected the durability.
They are generous in fit, actually a little too large until, after 3 washes, they now fit perfectly.

Be prepared to love these sheets. Right out of the package they are soft and cuddly. I couldn't wait to wash them and sleep on them. Very soft but not to much flanel or heavy like some flanel. You know you are sleeping on expensive sheets. Any doubts about price? Just go for it. You will not regret it. Love them.

Based on the reviews, I thought I was going to love these sheets, but I don't. They do look nice after washing, unlike a lot of other flannel sheets which look very wrinkly. However, they do not have the comfort I was expecting. These sheets don't even look like flannel to me. They are very flat with no plushness. I remember flannel sheets from the past and I just loved crawling in bed because they were so soft,comfy and plush. You will not find that to be the case with these sheets. I honestly, do not notice a difference between these and a nice high thread count of regular sheets. I am still debating if I should return them. I have never paid this much before for sheets, and I have to say I did not get what I was expecting.

Have been using these sheets continuously for 3 1/2 months and wash weekly. Unlike other flannel sheets, these premium supima ones from Bean are just as smooth and soft after many washings as when they were brand new. No rough pilling etc. Highly recommend for those who feel the cold and like comfort.

I just purchased a Queen set in light straw color, washed great with no shrinkage. They are not like the old type of Flannel sheets were they use to have a lot of fluff on then. These sheets are soft very nice to the feel against your body. Also the finish is well done . Also they are not heavy which is a plus.Also my little five pound Chihuahua is allowed to sleep with me from 6 to 8 am and she just loves the soft sheets and blanket I just bought from LLBean. she loves to snuggle.So she thanks you for a great product.
