Rated 5 out of 5 Solid gloves
These gloves are a little stiff at first, but after breaking them in, they are great. The back is a light stretchy material, just enough to protect your hands from the sun. The inside is thicker, more like a tactical glove. There is just enough material cut off the fingertips that you can still tie knots easily, but without compromising the sun protection for your fingers. There is a slight tradeoff though. The finger protection comes at the cost of lost sensitivity. When you are stripping streamers all day from a float tube, the protection is much appreciated. But you lose some of the feeling of the fly line in your hands. When you have a pile of fly line that you are trying to cast back out, you can't feel how much line is slipping through your hand, so casting becomes slightly more difficult. With a little practice, casting with the gloves on becomes easier. If the sun is not an issue, sometimes I will wear only the right glove to protect my control fingers but maintain the feel of the line in my left hand while casting. On colder days, they provide a little bit of warmth and wind resistance. Although they are not intended to be warm, they are warmer than no gloves at all. I think they would look better in a plain tan color rather than the green pattern, but that's just personal preference.

I bought a pair early last season, and while they were clearly well constructed, I was concerned that the leather palms would make them too stiff for the kind of fishing I do.
After a full year with these gloves, I am very pleased. They have held up well and I rarely think about having them on. I also find that the leather palms keep my hands from getting beaten up as well.
I suspect that it might take a couple of years for the leather to get completely broken in, but when they do, these gloves will be perfect.
I am ordering another pair for my fishing buddy.

Haven't worn them outside as yet but they seem well made and sturdy. I have pretty big hands - the XL is tight but okay - very big handed people are probably not going to be able to use these.

These are well made gloves. They would certainly reduce sun damage to the back of the hands.
However I found the palm material to be very thick making them unsuitable for most freshwater fishing. In my opinion these gloves are most suited to saltwater use with heavier rods and fish.

I just received this summer fishing gloves. The L/XL fits my 10 1/2 size hands just fine. Because of their light weight airy weave I do believe they will be very comfortable fishing this summer

I haven't worn them fishing yet, but they seem like a quality product. I used the guide and I was a small/medium. Gloves just fit with a little stretching out. so if your at the upper end of a size go up one.
