Rated 2 out of 5áby daquit Too Small for the average woman
I recieved the gloves very quickly. I paid quite a bit of money for them.
My wife is a small woman that paddles all year around. She has tiny feet and very small hands, so I bought her the smalls. Well, the smalls fit my 10 year old daughter who is also small for her age. So, if you have an 8-9 year old that paddles competitively, you might want to drop the 20+ bucks on these gloves in the small size. Looking at the size chart, I don't even think the size large will fit my small wife's hands. I also believe that if the gloves did fit, they will only last, maybe, 2 months of paddling 4 times a week. I recommend the gloves for children.

I looked far and wide to find female paddling gloves and these were the ones that kept coming up time and time again. The glove materials seem to be a good quality, but they are not well designed. I had read the other reviews and ordered a size up because I do not have super-skinny fingers and was glad I did as the fingers on these gloves are ridiculously small. However, going a size up the palm of the glove was slightly big and the seam in the gloves between my thumb and forefinger started rubbing raw after just a couple miles of kayaking. I think even if the palm had been the correct size for me that I would have had this issue with the thumb seam. The gloves did protect the rest of my hand from blistering. Might be good for short trips or trips where you aren't doing a lot of paddling, but not good for anything more than a couple of miles.
Also, it says that it covers 3/4s of your fingers, but it only goes up to the first knuckle. I was not looking for more than that, but it is just something to note.

Rated 4 out of 5áby mom2thelake comfortable, dry quickly
These gloves run very small. Followed the measuring instructions which said to buy a small. I've always worn a large in gloves so I bought a med. They are tight but very comfortable & dry quickly even the leather part. I use to wear work gloves when kayaking but these are much better.

I read a lot of reviews about these gloves running small (the finger holes being really petite). However, I have skinny fingers and didn't want the rest of the glove to be too big, so I ordered the size the sizing chart recommended, a medium. When I got them everything fit except for the fingers. They were so tight that when I bent my fingers like they would be holding a paddle my circulation was a bit cut off. However, given that I ordered these online, I was hesitant to get a larger size because I was afraid the rest of the glove wouldn't fit and there would be bunching (because it currently fit perfectly other than the fingers). And I didn't want to have to pay for return shipping twice and still not have gloves.
We ended up finding these gloves elsewhere in person so I was able to try on the large and they fit perfectly. The only feature I wish they had was a small slot on one of the fingers to help pull them off like biking gloves often have so they don't turn inside out (but I haven't seen any paddling gloves with that feature). I did a 8.5 mile paddle with the gloves and everything was great except for the ill-placed seam between the thumb and pointer finger. This is the part where I usually get blisters since it's wrapped around the paddle. I have yet to find a pair of paddling gloves that don't have this seam. It was a bit uncomfortable at times, but in 8.5 miles I did not get a blister, just a little irritation. This is an improvement from me getting blisters without gloves on shorter rides though, but I wish they were designed better.
That being said, I searched far and wide in stores and online to find a paddling glove that fits. The unisex ones are not made for the shape of female hands and/or often aren't sold in a small enough size. Therefore, these are still pretty good gloves given their fit. But it was a little annoying trying to figure out the right size online and the seam is a pain.

I have very small hands and I just received the women's boating gloves in small, but they were squeezing my hands so tightly after just a minute on that my hands started to throb!
I sent them back for medium... but this review doesn't speak to the quality, they seem well made out of the box, I just thought I should inform everyone, the small was REALLY small, so didn't get a chance to use them.

This is my second pair of these boater's (kayaking) gloves. I had to buy a new pair because I lost one of my old ones. These gloves are very comfortable and not hot. They have a great grip for my kayak paddle and I do not get blisters from wearing my rings while paddling.

I recently took up kayaking, I was getting blisters on the inside of my thumbs from the paddle. These gloves have resolved the problem completely. They are comfortable, and have just the right padding to avoid blisters. with the open finger tips, I have full dexterity of my hands and fingers. these will be great when I use my kayak for fishing.

I kayaked over 60 miles in 6 days in the Apostle Islands and used these gloves everyday. I did not get one blister on my hands. These gloves dry fast, are extremely comfortable and hold up well. I would recommended these gloves to any kayaker.

These are the only paddling gloves I've found that fit my small hands. (I ordered extra-small). The velcro wrist closure keeps them firmly in place, and the open fingers permit dexterity. After about an hour, I forgot I even had them on.

My husband and I both bought a pair for a kayaking trip in the Adirondacks. They were fabulous-- no blisters!
