Before these I had only ever owned a pair of rubber waders. Wow, what a difference! These are so much lighter and more comfortable. They breathe very well I think. You do notice the temperature of the water more as a result. The boots are actually really comfortable. I thought the size ran a bit large. I wear 42 waist and wear XL in pretty much everything. I bought an XL and they are big on me. I thought about returning them for a smaller size, but decided to keep them. For the money and the guarantee offered, I do not know how you could beat these. I shopped around a lot before purchasing these and I am very pleased with my purchase. I would and already have recommended these to others.

Rec'd these tonight. Was surprised by the good quality boot. Glad I ordered 1 size up as with thicker socks they fit perfectly. I put them on and stood waist deep in my pool. No leaks. Fabric is super thin though. Can't imagine wearing them in the colder environs. Bought these for surf fishing and at the casting ponds. Easy on/off which is what I wanted. There's not much choice out there these days for bootfoot, but these seem solid for the price.

Another great product from LL Bean! A very reasonable price. The fit was just right for me. I will be trying the waders in Florida soon and expect they will be perfect for Florida wading.

I have used this wader one time during opening day for waterfowl hunting. It was easy to put on and take off, light weight and got the job done. When I was sitting in the water, the mud didn't even stick to the wader. This made it easy to get cleaned up after use. I just hose it off and it is clean. Will see how it holds off during the season.

This model is not available in enough sizes to get a good fit unless you come very close to average dimensions. I had to send mine back and buy a competitor's product, which had a better choice of sizes available. The size 11 foot waders did not come any smaller than a "large". That is too long and too big for me. I also found the soles of the boots to be uncomfortable on my feet for some reason.

sizing is ludicrous - would someone please make this product in the u.s. - so it will "fit" the average american!

It's been difficult to find a bootfoot wader without felt, Alaska does not allow felt boots anymore. This fills the bill at a reasonable price. Comfortable but had to get a shoe size two sizes up. Give it 5 stars.
