This is the best luggage set I've owned to date. I flew down to Arizona for a week and and got mine and my 2 year old daughter's clothes in just the one smaller bag. It fit in the overhead bin so we didn't have to check any luggage. I've since lent the set to 3 of my older kids for trips around the world. Once you use a lightweight set like this you can't go back to bulky, heavy, awkward luggage. You can over pack and still zip it up, the duffle handles make it easy to pick up and maneuver. I love the wheels and easy handle. I can zip around the airport while everyone else is standing around waiting for their bulky checked luggage. I have had two back surgeries and having lightweight luggage is really appreciated.

I've had this set of luggage for several years and I LOVE IT! You wouldn't believe how much you can squeeze into them! Buy the set, you won't regret it!

This is an amazingly tough piece of luggage. Rolls well. Holds a'plenty. Has lots of zippered spaces. And yes, it does fit as an airline carry-on. I was hesitant about getting something labeled "duffle", but it functions like any other piece of luggage I have had in the past. I absolutely adore this item.

I purchased the Quickload Upright luggage set for a recent trip. Love, love, love this luggage. The XL Rolling Duffle was the perfect size for a 5 day trip. The bag holds allot with room too spare. Nothing came out wrinkled. It's light, sturdy and wheeled easily. The small carry-on held all of my toiletries, chargers and other things with ease. I'm so glad I purchased this set. Best luggage I've ever owned, especially for the price.

Bought this for daughter's trip to Spain, best investment I've ever made in luggage. Hubby uses it also on numerous military travels, will definitely get one for the other kids and us. Not one tear or problem in over 5 yrs.

I scanned many sites before finding this set of luggage. There was also a promotional discount and a variety of colors. I wanted as light as possible but durable. I have elbow, leg and back issues. I did not open the box until the day before packing. I was already impressed. I chose a color that I could quickly ID on the luggage carousel. My vacation was to Lebanon. I pack lightly, took some things for my cousin but I knew I would be returning with much more, not so many souvenirs but baked goods which is tradition for my cousin to bake for my family; pastries that my late mother baked for the Orthodox Easter in May and a special Egyptian date that is only grown in Egypt and exported to Lebanon, cooked, seasoned,stuffed with an almond and sugar coated. So I knew upon my return I would be bogged down with weighted luggage and pay fines. I had to borrow one of her typical black rectangular valises as the amount of packing exceeded the space I had in my bags. In order to return with my own luggage I packed the midsize in the large one and filled in the gaps with my clothing and odds and ends. The small carry on holds so much, it is incredible so my camera, books and prescriptions and other toiletries went into this bag. I know the midsize could have been carried on the plane on my trip to Beirut and placed in the cargo over hold but I am not in a position physically to lift or wheel it so I knew I would pay the extra fees for it to travel with my larger bag, plus fines for overweight baggage upon the return flight. The luggage never made it to Boston but Air France promptly located it in Paris and it was delivered the next day to my home. It arrived in beautiful condition. When I used the wheels it glided nicely across the floor and ground and up and over the curbings with no problems. I am very impressed with this luggage. I wish there was a matching backpack. The small carry on is very comfortable on the shoulder and I have nothing but praise for my experience with my luggage. I feel that I made an excellent choice and can't wait for my next vacation. Very strong, well made with many exterior and/or interior pockets for storage. Thank you LL Bean.

I almost love the luggage...The only problem is that if I fill the large suitcase, it won't stand up on its own. It topples forward and falls over. This makes it impossible to take my hand off the handle when waiting in airport lines, shuttle lines, etc.
I take a few international trips a year, and tend to overpack (yes, it's a weakness).... So, sadly, this collection doesn't work for me.
If it had 4 wheels instead of just the 2, I suspect it would balance better...

I bought the Medium Quickload Duffle 5 years ago and it has been around the world: Africa, Asia, Europe, South America and as I write it is on the way to the Dominican Republic. Durable, light, versatile, and easy to pack, this carry on is my favorite "go-to" travel bag. Friends have borrowed this bag as often as I'll let them for the very same reasons. It holds more than boxy roller bags, fits more easily into the overhead compartment on a plane, and it's super lightweight. My work has me on a plane 3-4 times a month and while there are more expensive and fancier bags out there, I wouldn't trade mine for any of them. Best LLBean purchase ever!

I travel regularly on short hops to Chicago from the NE. This piece is perfect for any trip of 3-5 days. The more you use it, the more you discover regarding its potential. My daughter has just entered the work force and will be traveling. This will be my first gift to her. Qualities? roomy, durable, "ligfht" (I can pick it up for storage), professional. A great find and a great product......love it!!

I have bought 4 sets of this luggage - one for each kid as they go to college. Needless to say, my husband and I borrow it too to and so have extended family. Our first set we have purchased 4+ yrs ago has been used for car, airport, and train travel multiple times w/ no difficulties and no wear! Love that the medium duffle meets carry on for planes and the lightweight makes more room weight wise for clothes. Next set we get will be for my husband and I!
