While this personal lunch cooler is recommended for camping I purchased it for my husband for his everyday lunches for work. the material is strong and the zipper glides easily and does not snag on the inside plastic. I love it!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mom2scm Nice size for weekday lunches
I purchased this cooler to replace my old lunchbox. The rectangular shape was perfect as I was able to fit my breakfast, lunch and two snacks in the cooler with room to spare. I put the freezer pack in the lid section and it did keep my dairy cold all day long. I am happy with this purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by JackInSalemVA Solid, high quality
We use the cooler as a lunchbox for work. We easily fit two lunches in it. The design is good, the quality is high, and the construction is good. We expect many years of good service.
You might want to be sure you have (or get) a re-usable ice pack, since one is not included with this item. In our case, we put it in a refrigerator at work, so we have no real need for an ice pack. It is well insulated in general, but the ice pack would help, if you need cool temperature for hours.

Rated 5 out of 5 by NMnurse Everything I wanted and more!
I work 12 hours shifts at night, so there isn't much open at that time of day. This lunchbox held and kept cold enough items for my entire shift. It's sturdy, well insulated and holds plenty of food. I would recommend this item highly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by ladyjane62 Love this personal cooler
I got this the other day in the mail and I just love it. It is very well made, love the color, and the design is wonderful. I also have the bigger size that is a larger cooler and i love that to. I used this a couple of times already as my mom is recovering from a fall in the nursing home and I bring her goodies from home in this little cooler. Everything stays nice and cool for a very long time. I place one of those little cooler packs and that stays frozen as well all that time. I would say that if you are thinking about purchasing this cooler don't hesitate because this is a great product.

I really love this little cooler - I bought one about 5 years ago, and it stood up to daily use - in my car year round as I travel for work. A few weeks ago it started leaking, but I liked it so much more than hard sided coolers- which fell over easily in the car - that I bought another one. And I am happy with this one as well. There are pockets outside for used sandwich bags, bags of non-refrigerated snacks etc, plus a generous inside area which holds my water bottle, sandwich, and fruit, plus 3 trays of ice cubes in the summer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PatriciaK smaller softpack cooler
We drove south from Freeport last week. This smaller cool pack was filled with snacks for the trip, along with soda bottles filled with frozen water (great solid ice blocks). Still quite chilled on the 2nd day, although it had been opened numerous times.

Rated 5 out of 5 by KathRN Very well insulated
The size is perfect, as other reviewers have noted, but what really strikes me is the insulation. I carry two 1/2 liter bottles of ice water in the bottom of the cooler, place my yogurt and sandwich on top of these, and tuck an ice pack in the top mesh. My water bottles still have ice in them at the 6-7 hour point in my shift! My yogurt is cold and firm, too, when I finally get around to eating it. No more soupy yogurt for lunch!. I haven't tried it for hot winter lunches, but am sure this cooler is up to the task.

I volunteer for a number of organizations in our area. Challenge was looking for a small cooler that could carry cold water and or drinks to my shifts. The shoulder strap is perfect for caring when hands/arms are full. This one is perfect, to get me through keeping hydrated :-) Thanks!

Rated 4 out of 5 by packrattogo Seems rugged....looks like it should hold up well
A nice little personal cooler/lunchbox. It has less capacity than I expected, but should still hold the average person's well-packed lunch. (Probably not adequate for a big "hungry man" kind of meal.) There are no internal compartments or dividers, so it's best to use containers sized to stack well and maximize the space.
Ultimately, I think 10-20% bigger would have been ideal, as that would better allow you to include a beverage (without crushing any loose items). But this will still hold lunch for most kids or efficient-packing adults.
