Rated 5 out of 5 by Targhee Everyone should own this sleeping mat!
Just returned from a 7 day camping trip in Moab, Utah. Awesome, awesome sleeping pad! Highly recommend...nothing negative to say just positive.
If you want to have a wonderful night's sleep this pad is sure to give you just that...

Rated 5 out of 5 by TrakerGirl Incredibly comfortable
I am 59, have a bad back, sleep on a Temperpedic, and the air mattress just wasn't cutting it. I slept extremely well on this mattress, in a very cold Maine forest, very comfortable and wide. Required a bit of trial and error to get the inflation just right. Too heavy for hiking, great for car camping. Great product, worth every penny.

Worth the price tag. I have used this camping, and it feels like a real bed. I have also used this on the floor of a house when there were no more beds available, and it was fantastic. I am 6'6 250 lbs and it held up great. Even when sleeping on your side, there are no pressure points. I think of this now as a portable bed. Quality goods like this deserve premium prices.

This pad is amazing in many ways. A little heavy for any thing except car camping. Unfortunately, even when fully inflated with many breaths, it is just the same as sleeping on an air bed. I woke up throughout the night with pain and could barely move in the morning. If you have a bad back, this may not be the pad for you.
Additionally, the pad picks up all the leaf debris and hair on it's brushed fleece cover. Not easy to remove either.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bangorliz Very comfortable
I bought this for my husband to use when he is sleeping in a camper-trailer. He puts this mattress on a wooden platform and reports that it is very comfortable and he is able to get a good night's sleep on it. He doesn't like a regular air mattress but is very satisfied with this. I hesitated to buy it originally because it is expensive, but he reports that it truly is a "mattress" so I think it is definitely worth the money.

The comfort this provides is excellent and it is slightly firmer than I expected (which I see as a plus - not like a pure air mattress that squishes a lot when you push in one spot). It is quite large, even when rolled up, so make sure you have enough room to take it along camping. I also plan to use this for house guests.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Kamaaina Far better than expected!
I ordered this product with hesitancy, as I balked at the cost. But the reviews were excellent, so I did it. I am about to order another one. This mattress is a far better product for its type than I imagined could exist! I am nearly 68 years old and have slept on it, on the floor, the past two nights, with no problems at all. It's remarkably comfortable and far better than any blow-up camping mattress we've tried.

I'm very happy with the Therm a Rest
mattress. I feel it serves me better than the air mattress. It's comfortable and stores neatly under the bed.

Sleeping on the ground is no fun, and years ago I swore never again. But I got a chance to go to a remote site in NM for three days of exploring and decided to try again. This mattress is terrific! Even my old, well-upholstered bones were happy on the ground. It's too big and heavy for backpacking ( unless someone else carries it) but for car camping it's perfect. Be sure to give it 24 hours to wake up after being squished for shipping, and then store it unrolled.

Rated 5 out of 5 by zuzana Great product
Fantastic product. Shockingly comfortable. Soft, great fabric (washable!) cover. Very happy with it. I would prefer to have it in standard width - this one is little wider and 4 do not fit into tent for 4 people (that is sized for standard sleeping pads). On the other hand, you get more sleeping space. Downside is that the item is little bulky. But that is not a big deal while car camping. Another downside is the price....
