No one in the Northwest should be without these. I slip them on all the time and they work in puddles and wet grass just fine. Seems as if they will last forever, made in Brazil. On first glance these look like shoes, so are ok for informal wear (brown) On second glance they are perhaps a little strange looking... I could do without the bow, but they work so well I really don't care. I wear a 7M and these are loose enough for socks, but not heavy socks without a little stretching. Low cut enough to be comfortable for high arches, took only a couple of hours to break in.

You have no idea how much I wanted to keep these. They are fun and cute. But they are too narrow for a wide foot. I considered for a moment returning them for a larger size (sometimes I'll go up to 8 for width) but they were also long. Plus, I get cranky when my toes are squished and I could tell this would be a problem. And being rubber I had no faith they'd stretch, and certainly not enough even if they did stretch.
So, in conclusion, only get these if you have a narrow foot.

These shoes are true to the size. I always read the reviews before I place an order. I ordered these shoes in 7,5 (that's what I usually wear). The fit is great! I tried them for short urban dog walks after rain or when there is dew in the grass early in the morning. The shoes work great! They feel light and fit pleasantly tight without flip-flopping nor squeezing my feet. I wore them with very thin woolen socks, and bare-feet, and with thicker cotton socks...Everything worked. I guess it is because the material they are made of is if not stretchy, than flexible enough. I definitely recommend these shoes as they keep feet dry and, once again, they are so light! And they look so nice!!!

I ordered these to wear in NYC on a rainy day this spring, where I was going to be doing a lot of walking. Right out of the box they were comfortable! I was worried that wearing brand new shoes would result in rubbing or blisters after a day of walking the city but no worries! My feet are fine, even without socks. These shoes kept my feet dry and comfortable and are cute enough to wear with a skirt or dress as well as jeans. If you live where it rains a lot but is too warm for your rubber boots, you need these shoes.

The catalog description is accurate. The fit is a bit snug at first, but they have sufficient give and seem to fit my size 7B feet correctly. I haven't gotten them wet yet. I bought them for quick trips in the rain and snow from house to car to parking lots.

I was going to just wear these to and from work but they were comfortable enough to wear all day. Everybody thought they were just patent leather shoes! Runs a little narrow in the bunion area. With time they will stretch. Purchased in black and navy. Really cute.

While they are really cute, the fit for me is far too narrow. I also found the material to be very stiff and uncomfortable. I do not think it would stretch much with wear at all. Unfortunately they had to be returned.

Love, love, love these rain shoes. Have been searching for a pair ever since I lost those I had to Hurricane Katrina in '05. These are perfect in every way?not just for wet weather. Comfortable, stylish, versatile. I particularly like the arch support, which allows me to wear them for long periods of time. Very good buy. Look forward to wearing them for years. Typical Bean quality!

Love these! Very fun, engaging shoes...no breaking in required. Red w blue. You're not in Kansas anymore, was a constant comment. Great for rainy days, and sunny ones, too!
