run a bit long but I have inserts and bad toes so it worked for me

I love this shoe so much I just ordered another pair in navy. I took the advice of many reviewers and ordered down 1/2 size and they fit perfectly. The shoe is comfortable, light, with good support for a great price!

I followed the advice of the other reviewers and purchased the shoe a half a size smaller and the shoe fit perfectly. Repeating the other reviewers, the back of the shoe does tend to be a little high but I've folded the back down and there's no rubbing/slight digging. Maybe if LLBean slighly increased the depth of the V-shape so there'd be more Achilles Tendon room? Otherwise, a very comfortable shoe, great arch support, and no need to "break them in." I wear skirts all the time and these are snappy enough for skirts yet still casual. I look forward to wearing them when we tour Washington, DC.

Great shoe but way too big. Order down 1/2 to a whole size; especially if you have a narrow foot.

Rated 5 out of 5 If you're a narrow width
I first ordered these shoes in my regular size 6.5. I have a very narrow width. When the 6.5 size arrived, the shoe flopped on the front of my foot. I really liked the shoe and thought it would be comfortable so I replaced it with the 6. My 6's arrived today and my narrow foot fit perfectly in the shoe.It's difficult for me to find shoes that fit and are comfortable. I would recommend these if you want comfort and style.

I absolutely loved these shoes from the moment I strapped them on! I am always a size 8 or 8.5 so I initially ignored the reviews all advising me to order a half size down... sure enough, I had to send back my size 8 for a 7.5! Definitely do order a half size down if even if you are confident about your shoe size because these run large!
I bought these for an upcoming trip to Kauai. I was looking for something I could wear to walk through streams and yet also hike Waimea Canyon. These are cute for hiking and with a swimsuit but also seem dressy enough for a sundress or casual dinner. Love the versatility.
On a previous trip, I had a pair of tevas that literally fell apart. I know I am getting good quality with LLBean and am comforted by their lifetime guarantee so that I don't need to buy a new pair if these get destroyed on this trip!
Aside from vacations, these are great everyday summery shoes to wear while running errands or out and about. They are comfortable like sneakers but much more stylish!

I am very happy with this shoe! I was looking for something casual that I could wear for walking, running errands, etc and this definitely fits the bill!
Things I love:
- great arch support
- comfortable
- breathable mesh type fabric making them lightweight and perfect for hot weather/summer
- adjustable velcro straps (helps with various foot widths) which so far are holding really well
Things I would change:
- I would have the backs of the shoe just a little bit lower. While the back is nice and soft material it hits the back of my foot a bit high up for my liking at a tender spot - if it could be just a bit lower it would be more comfortable
- I think they fit a bit small... I ordered a 7 as I am always a 7 in flat shoes, but should have ordered a half size up with these.

....I bought these shoes back when they were available in dark brown. Also bought a pair in blue. The velcro straps on the brown pair simply do NOT stay fastened, even when I tap them in place. After a while, they just loosen and come open. It's a real bother to find myself stepping out of a shoe unexpectedly. I wear them around the house now, but will not wear them where losing a shoe could be a hazard........

I have been a LL Bean customer for years and have, sadly, seen the quality go down. This topped it all. The shoes are at least one size too large. What a disappointment. At least they had no odor which has occurred on other products. I'm very sad. I was looking forward to them. Love the look.

I have two pairs and I wear them all spring and summer long. They're comfortable and look good with anything: skirts or shorts or capris. I highly recommend them.
