Very comfortable sandals, nice quality. My son has wide feet and usually wears size 8. I read previous reviews and from them the sandals run big, so I ordered size 8 but regret it. They were tight and a bit short, so I returned them and ordered size 9. Much happier and my son loves them. Probably it is better to try them in a store first but definitely nice and comfy sandals and the price is very reasonable for this quality. And L.L. Bean customer service rocks!

These sandals seemed like a great idea. They have a supportive footbed and the material can get wet. The first pair that I ordered for my son were too big. (They were new to the catalog, so no reviews to judge sizing.) But they were on sale at an even better price, so I saved them for later and ordered the next smaller size. They were still on the larger side and didn't fit him right away either. When he grew into them, they were very stiff, and he mostly refused to wear them. When he grew into the larger pair, he still didn't like them - not even for water games at day camp. So we've donated two nearly-new pairs of these to the thrift store. Next time I will pay a little more and get the brand name river sandals. LL Bean footwear are a staple for him, but these were a miss. If they fit your kid(s) comfortably, and they wear them, they're a great deal. Recommended with reservations.

I really, really like these sandals because they seem to be really well made and durable, but as some others have said, they run really big. My son has narrow feet to begin with which made me order on the small side (he's a 9 1/2 in other brands so I ordered a 9) and the sandals were still a solid size too big. We live in Florida, so I'm just going to save them for his next big growth spurt because they do seem really nice if they fit.

I ordered these to send to our 4-yr-old grandson. The first pair I ordered were too big. LLBean had the 2nd pair, which fit perfectly, on their way before I had shipped back the pair that was too big.
They are so cute on Henry, and he loves them. He loved being able to choose the color and then meeting the UPS truck at their gate.

This is the second pair I've purchased this summer for my youngest son (who's hit another growth spurt!) and I love them. He usually wears a wide but these fit perfectly. My oldest son has medium width feet and they also fit him well due to the adjustable straps. They wear well and dry quickly.

LOVE these sandals. My son (now 6.5 yrs) had a pair last summer and actually wore them this summer until I FINALLY ordered a new pair. Also ordered another pair for his younger brother. Both boys love their sandals and they are easy to put on and off and clean.
We will be buying a new pair of these every summer until...well, forever I guess!

I got these sandals for my 2 year old son and am very pleased with them. They stay on well and fit well. The gray color goes with everything and my son seems to be comfortable in them. I would buy these again and recommend them.
