this chair is very comfortable to me and my husband, but we are short people. None of our taller guests are really comfortable in it as their knees come up too high. It is also a little difficult to get out of, as one must pull forward and then leverage out with hands on arms of chair. Nonetheless, everyone agrees that it is comfortable to sit in. If it were just a little bit higher, like the regular, not All-weather, Adirondack, it'd be a solid 5.

Rated 5 out of 5áby DonnaCShopper Adirondack chair looks great.
I bought this chair made in heavy plastic. It looks great, sits comfortably and will wear in the weather well!
It was easy to assemble too.
I will buy more in the Spring!

I bought two of the All-Weather Adirondack Chairs in the sand color about a year ago, love them - want to buy two more now. I would like them in red, any chance of red becoming a color choice in the near future??? Don't want them in wood, because of maintenance :(

We bought two of the all-weather Adirondack chairs in Blue Mist. We love the color--it is a beautiful shade of blue. The chairs are very comfortable; we use them without cushions. We also bought two of the footrests to go with them. We bought two of these chairs with matching footrests in dark green many years ago, and they still look as good as the day we got them. We live in Florida, and they are outside all the time. Seeing how well they hold up, we didn't hesitate to buy these when we needed some outdoor chairs for our lake cottage.

EASY to assemble in 5 minutes. Looks like it should last forever. No painting ever. Just clean with soap and water.

In terms of comfort and durability, these chairs have it all. I have owned a few Adirondack chairs in the past, and they have all ultimately fallen apart after just a couple of years.
These chairs are built to last. Very easy to assemble and won't get blown around your deck in gusty winds. I originally bought 2 of them, but purchased 2 more since everyone that comes over the house, wants to sit in them. Friends liked them so much that they have purchased them as well.

Rated 5 out of 5áby Ganski Great Chairs !
I purchased 2 chairs in the blue mist color, the color is perfect for our shoreline CT home. They are comfortable and well made. It took 5 minutes to assemble them and we couldn't be any happier. LL Bean made the purchase even better with 25% off for 4th of July and an additional 10% off too. If you are looking for a high quality chair, made in the USA, these are the ones to buy.

Rated 2 out of 5áby deddoc boring colors
When are you bringing back the fun colors? These washed out ones are really boring. I have the side tables in the bright vivid colors you used to have and was prepared to drop quite a bit of $$ to buy several chairs, but I won't do that now unless you restock the colors you used to have.

...so that's really a problem given this product is a chair. I had owned the wood versions of this chair but after about 8 seasons, the paint was chipping off badly and to have the chair sanded and sprayed would have cost most of the price of a new one. So, I bit the bullet and got the All-weather chair.
The positives: it requires simple assemby and goes together quickly. It doesn't chip or peel
The cons: the most uncomfortable chair on the porch, or in the whole house. The back is not curved; it's perfectly flat. The seat has very little curve. And because the chair is plastic, no give is available.
This year, I bought similar all weather chairs from another company, for about 25% less and they are fabulously comfortable. The difference? the back of the chair is concave and the seat has a real ergonomic curve.
I've been a big fan, and frankly beneficiary, of LL Bean's quality for many years. This chair is a big, expensive disappointment.

Rated 4 out of 5áby Ihatepickingnames Looks great but not as comfortable as the original
I bought 2 of these last fall for my new patio but didn't get one out of the box till yesterday. I've had 2 white wood folding Adirondack chairs from LL Bean for years which I love but I haven't taken them in in the winter. I had them repainted once a couple of years ago but they're peeling again and worse, the wood is starting to crack, which makes me sad. I love those chairs - they're the most comfortable outdoor chairs I've ever been in without cushions. I thought I'd get the same chair in low maintenance material.
The All-Weather chair I put together yesterday took some effort to get screwed together by myself but it looks like it will last a long time. It is not, however, the same chair. The back is more vertical - it's just not as comfortable. Had I known, I probably wouldn't have bought them but I'm unlikely to send them back - that's too much of a hassle. They just won't get used as much as the old ones.
