Rated 4 out of 5 by BusyGrandmama Nice lightweight dress pant.
LL Bean gives so many choices for mens' pants, but which to buy? I am pleased with the quality of the dress chinos. They could be dressed up or down accordingly, and are lightweight enough to wear in the summer. The first style I ordered was the natural fit comfort waist. Although the stretch waist was hidden and a nice feature for those large dinners...the pant was too baggy in the back of the thigh. I then went for the classic fit which was perfect. I feel that falling at the waist is a little dressier than falling below the waist, and I would buy accordingly. The classic and the comfort pant were true to waist size. I bought them hemmed, and the first came longer than I had specified. But the second time around they were perfect. I have not worn these pants yet, so I can't speak to their durability or clean ability.

Rated 4 out of 5 by PeruDoc Quality for the price
Arrived on time, quality construction, durable materials, fits right. They have hem lengths every 1/2". At other stores I need to buy 30" and have a tailor remake the hem to 29 1/2" or wear them too long and have the cuffs fray. At LLBean they are the right length when I receive them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by SEAHawks Good pants, but the rise is too-short.
I wanted some decent casual pants that I could wear to work as business casual and wouldn't have to dry clean. Similar pants from a competitor claimed to not need ironing, but that was a joke in their case. I have washed these pants once and worn them a few times and it appears that they don't require ironing, but they would look better if you did. The price seems a little steep for this quality of pants, but they will pay off if they really don't need to be ironed. They are generally well made, but one thing that has me on the brink of returning them is that the rise is just too short. I've never experienced any pants, ever, that were this uncomfortable in that regard, including blue jeans when it comes to having to go to the bathroom. You almost have to unbutton them at the waist and lower them a little. If it were not for that I would be happy with them, but I may have to return them. I wish I had the option of "Maybe" when it comes to recommending these to a friend. I had to choose "No" since I'm still undecided as to whether to return them.

Pants look and feel great. A bit on the tight side across the front but I think its just the cut of the pants. The shale grey color can pass for a shade of green as well. Will be buying more.

These are great trousers, a bit shorter in the rise than the ones I purchased about a year ago that I enjoy so much. The only difference is the earlier ones were not plain front. These are grey and go well with my expensive navy blazer. Thank you LL Bean.

Well constructed garment but far too much material in the upper leg and butt area of these pants.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Ritkid Wrinkle badly
Am quite disappointed in these slacks. They wrinkle badly and the wrinkles do not "hang out" as in other Bean slacks.

After wearing the pants for two hours, they were very wrinkled. I don't think they were any different in appearance than pants half the price.

Rated 4 out of 5 by savedbygrace42 Not as "dressy" as I thought
I think the item name, "Dress Chinos" is a bit deceiving as the pants are not dressy in the fact of being silky or suit-like. They are very nice pants, but not what I was looking for.
