Rated 5 out of 5áby Dilbert3 Great Pants
These are great pants. The hidden comfort feature ensures a great fit and the inseam selection is precise. To top it off they come out of the dryer ready to wear.

Come out of dryer ready to wear, Look very nice and feel great. I don't like the button down flaps on the rear pockets. I find them hard to unbutton. Also I can't get my change out of the little change pocket within the right pocket. I sewed it shut on one pair. On another pair I sewed the bottom so the change pocket was less deep. That has helped. Some of the problem may be my fingers don't work as well as they used to. So, my fingers are 82 years old and with the problems mentioned I still LOVE these pants. I have two pair, different colors.

Rated 1 out of 5áby TominFL Fabric is poor, rough like sandpaper
This pair of pants has a very rough texture to material. It is not the polished, pima cotton of previous years' by L L Bean. So I am very disappointed. This pair of pants is rough, almost a twill.

Rated 3 out of 5áby TooManyToys Pants are designed to be worn under your armpits
These pants are very well made, but I did not like the tailoring. I wish Bean did not assume that if you want the comfort waist feature you wanted to wear the pants up under your arm pits. The seat and thigh area is also huge.

Holds press great - after many washings
each of my three pair wore a hole where my wallet rubs in a short 12 months of wearing the three pairs alternately. LL Bean khakis used to last me for years!
I'm tempted to ask for a credit on say, two of them.
I am reordering in spite of this.

Great workmanship and detail but to call them wrinkle resistant is very misleading

I am really disappointed in these pants. They are extremely baggy in the thigh and the seat. The material feels coarse. There are holes sewn in the top front of the front pockets. The "Hidden Comfort" panels did not snap back properly after being stretched. They are being returned.

Rated 4 out of 5áby Pays4QualityButLikesADeal Great pant, terrible hem job.
I own six of these, and wear them just about every day. I love the pants, but the finished hem for the pant leg is terrible. The tension was set entirely too high on the machine which has resulted in a pock-marked look. Admittedly, the ones purchased online have a better hem than those purchased in the flagship store. Wish I had checked before driving four hours to get home. Nonetheless, you'll love the pants. Just find your own tailor.

Rated 4 out of 5áby BusyGrandmama Nice lightweight dress pant.
LL Bean gives so many choices for mens' pants, but which to buy? I am pleased with the quality of the dress chinos. They could be dressed up or down accordingly, and are lightweight enough to wear in the summer. The first style I ordered was the natural fit comfort waist. Although the stretch waist was hidden and a nice feature for those large dinners...the pant was too baggy in the back of the thigh. I then went for the classic fit which was perfect. I feel that falling at the waist is a little dressier than falling below the waist, and I would buy accordingly. The classic and the comfort pant were true to waist size. I bought them hemmed, and the first came longer than I had specified. But the second time around they were perfect. I have not worn these pants yet, so I can't speak to their durability or clean ability.
