Rated 2 out of 5 by Vallgrl I really wanted to like these, however
The fabric is very thick, and the weave is tight, however the fit was all boxy and baggy looking on my husband. His previous pants from LLBean looked good, not these.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Mouse1999 Heather Gray Various Shading Hides Wear and Lint!
This heather gray is shaded such it will hide wear and lint. When you need a dark pair of pants in cotton these are the ones to get. Dark colors in cotton pants like navy and black tend to show wear and lint more than khaki pants, but the shading in the heather gray should hide the wear and lint.
This style of LL Bean pant, Dress Hidden Comfort Waist is my husband's and my favorite. He is comfortable and looks great in them. These dress chinos have a button and clip at the top of the fly so no buttons ever falling off from our experience. Also flap covered button pockets in the back and deep pockets in the front. Pleated in the front and comfort waist for that fluctuating waistline.
They hem with or without a cuff to your specifications. Wash and wear! What is there not to like?

Rated 3 out of 5 by Bucki72 Good quality but...
The pants are very nice with the usual LL Bean quality. The problem I have is the length. I ordered the same length as other chino pants from LL Bean and they were too long. The inseam measured exactly what I ordered but when I compared them to my other pants I found the pants to be about two inches longer. The difference is in the length from the top of the pants to the top of the inseam.

Rated 5 out of 5 Coin pocket = card pocket
The in-seam pocket is not only great for coins, but even better, I now use it to hold a couple of credit cards, driver lic., ID card, and a couple of bills. everything I need, especially since I rarely use paper/coin money these days. No more wallet!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by MikeB75 I keep coming back....
I have ordered 8 - 9 of these, various colors, comfort-fit style, over the past six years. And will order another couple, soon. Perfect for me. One point -- I always have them dry-cleaned. To continue to use this as semi-dress, I couldn't imagine washing them.

Rated 3 out of 5 by ChicagoC Comfort fit?
Overall, I am now thinking I would order a smaller size in this product if I order again. The legs seem especially big and the waist is too! I am a big man and would rather be surprised this way than by having the pant be too small. I ordered 42 sized waist and next time would order 40.

I love L.L. Bean, I've oredered this item several times, and never will again. I didn't learn after the first time. The pants I requested were for a 29" inseam. They always come at least 33 inches and need to be shortened. Then after wearing only 5 or 6 times they fray at the bottom. If I had the energy, I would box them all up and return them. Instead, I just toss them. That's on me, not on Bean.

My husband finds these pants comfortable, easy to dress up or wear with a flannel shirt. They are indeed wash, dry and wear. No ironing needed.

Rated 2 out of 5 by DB13850 Comfortable but not durable
These pants are very comfortable and they don't wrinkle. I love how they flex while spending all day sitting at a desk. My problem with these pants is that they don't last. Every pair I have lasts only a few months. The last pair I got was slightly long (their issue) and the bottoms frayed. The current pair I have is having an issue with the clasp. The pair before that had some other problem. I don't wear them in a rough way, heck I push paper all day. While you can send them back with a great return policy, the return shipping costs have made it so I should have just bought a better brand in a regular store. I hate to not love these pants because they are so comfortable.

Do not particularly like the feel of the chino. It seems heavy.
