I wear a women's size 7 or 7.5 and ordered the kid's 6. They are plenty big. Very loose in the ankles. (I did order the kids wellie warmers in xl and it seems to help with the loosesness.) I am short so I choose the kid boots becasue I was hoping the kid's boots would be a little shorter in height than the adult boots, and they are, but only slightly.
My only complaint is that one of the buckles refuses to stay buckled and look nice. I may try to super glue it in position.
Overall, I like the pattern and think they're really cute with skinny jeans or a skirt/dress, and since our winter here in Michigan has been more rainy than snowy, they've been very useful.

Much like the Bean boot, these are weird with the sizing. We bought ours at the store so we got the correct info but if you are buying online just be advised. We bought them 2 sizes up from my gals size. Added the warmers and they are good to go. Beautiful colors and now they can't wait for rain! :)

I absolutely love this boots for my son! I love the classic look and the natural green color. I spent extra to get the quality of the "Wellie" name...but I have not been happy with the buckle. It dosen't stay buckled and the boots look sloppy when worn. My son wore them for a long time, and the unbuckled buckle drove me crazy, becuase it jingled constantly too. Thankful LLBean truly stands by their product and after a year (or more) they still allowed me to return them for a replacement. I have been a long time customer of LLBean and will continue to be...this has been the first time ever I have been "unhappy" with something. I have been grateful for how they handled it!

My daughter love her Bean Wellies Boots they fit great on her... I love them myself, I like fish prints on the boots and price were very reasonable when I purchase them....

I purchased a pair of the Camo Wellies for my son at the Freeport retail store on March 19th (0GUG404120), and by the following weekend, the top surface of the boots was peeling off - seems to be concentrated over the dark brown spots in particular(?) Since my son will be tromping in the mud and puddles, will plan to keep boots anyways (I know all products are 100% guaranteed), but wanted to pass along the concern. Otherwise boots are great and my son wears them nearly every day now.

I have an athletic-build 9-year old who is opinionated too...she loves the boots and they fit nicely (although they run a bit big)--at least they are not tight (she has a wide foot) and the boots are roomy so she can tuck in her jeans. No more wet socks and pants when she jumps in puddles or steps in the mud. Plus the colors are so fashionable, great to wear anywhere!

My 5 year old granddaughter loves them!
They are cozy, easy to get on, and cute.
They did shrink a bit in the first wash, but still fit fine. A nice insulation for romping in the snow or slogging through the icy city slush.

I bought a pair of Wellies for my pre-teen daughter. I love the colors... not too "girly" for her. Thanks for a few choices of colors! Check the size before you order. She wears a size 5 so I ordered a size 5 figuring with bulky socks they would fit fine. Will be sending them back for a lower size. They were way too big on her foot.
