I just bought three more headlamps because we use them all the time. They are very durable. I use mine when taking the dog out in the dark of early morning and late at night. Also when I want a bright light to read by, I strap it on my head and it provides the perfect amount of light. I also use mine when walking in the country at night. It's quite bright, and I can see where I'm going...a big plus when there is no ambient city light.

Wearing the Petzel Tikka 2 in dark places is like having a third hand, and the light is always shining in the direction you are looking. The pulsating light option alerts others you need help, and that in itself is incentive to have this head lamp.
I believe every household should have one of these when you lose electricity, want to read in bed, walking at night, or tying on a fly just as the trout begin to rise as darkness begins.

There is nothing more useful in navigating a campsite at night than one of these small, lightweight headlamps. This one is very good; bright, but with a good econo setting. Not entirely sure what the strobe flash setting is for, unless one wants to have rave parties in the woods, but anyway it's a great piece of equipment. Recommended.

I was amazed at how comfortable this headlamp was. We bought them for our recent camping trip with our five year old daughter and they MADE the trip! She loved the experience. The unit works great, easy, and is comfortable.

When our son took our original Petzl off to college with him, I ordered a 2nd one. No disappointments, the quality is still outstanding with nice bright adjustable light. This is a must have product in our home.

I purchased Petzi Tikka because I walk my dogs in a rural area before work. It provides more than adequate light to help us see where we are going. Very easy to use.

Got this product for my hubby before our camping trip in bass lake this memorial day wkend. He loves how bright the light is and how he can work with two hands and have a light u can focus anywhere. I've tried it once and liked it a lot that i'm buying one for myself and one to put in my car. The 2 light setting is great when working in close areas and u can tilt it as well to adjust focus. I just don't like the way it ruins my hair but other than that, it's a great product :-)

Never owned such an item before, this is the first headlamp ever. This item is used primarily for the outdoors, when I go surf casting in the early morning hours. The adjustable lamp is an excellent feature, so is the multiple degree of brightness. Should have purchased this headlamp years ago. Mahalo, from a satisfied customer. masami.

These headlamps are a great invention and the swivel is a nice refinement. Wish the batteries were rechargeable but I can replace them.

This is the 3rd Petzl Tikka Headlamp that I have bought. I need three for different uses and places of use. This is a great product. The hi-intensity light provides excellent lighting whether walking in the dark before dawn in Alaska, or crawling under a desk to work on a computer and its wiring.
