These are more like boots than sneakers. I love the look and feel
on my feet. Living in New England the weather is so fickle from
minute to minute. Sometimes in the winter you need more than a
shoe and less than a snow boot and this snow sneaker fits the bill.
Easy on and off velcro. I did buy a 1/2 size smaller than I normally
wear. I wear a 7 and purchased a 6 1/2. I actually was going to buy
a 7 but it wasn't available, but the 6 1/2 was. Am I glad, because
I believe if I purchased the 7 they would have been too big. I might
even be able to wear a 6 in these. That's my only true advise here
is to buy a 1/2 to a full size smaller when buying these snow sneakers.

These are really good snow boots. I've been wearing them for years. They last a long time, hold up well, keep my feet warm enough, have good traction, are comfortable and stylish. I've had a few pairs over the years and I highly recommend them.

I bought these last year, an easy winter in Buffalo. They were a little stiff at the back of the heel in the beginning. This winter they have been lifesavers! By far the best pair of boots I've owned and I'm over 60. They are completely waterproof, easy on and off, warm even without socks and their grip on snow and ice is secure. They are also lightweight!

After having slipped on ice four years ago, I am very, very cautious about walking frozen precipitation. With this being such a hard winter, my old "walking" boots had to be retired. I am so happy that I found this available at my time of need. I LOVE THEM! They keep my feet warm standing for buses and provide excellent support to my ankles. Worth every penny spent and I love the colors.

Got a pair many years ago (15+) and now that they are old and worn (but still in suprisingly good shape for their age), I knew I needed to have another pair - very comfy - wear them all the time. Thanks for still carrying them.

Sloshing through piles of plowed snow in regular sneakers isn't so bad if the temperature isn't also below zero. However, our upper Michigan weather is a perfect blend of lots of snow and cold. This is far from my first footwear purchase from LLB but I have never been more satisfied. The fit is great and accommodates my custom orthotics. I ordered the hook and loop closure because the lace model was out of stock but I am glad about that also. The closures are well placed and hold the boot firmly but comfortably in place and there is no problem with snow packing into laces. The color matches my LLB Rugged Ridge parka so that is a pleasing bonus.

Was a little worried when I initially put them on that they were too small but after fastening the velcro they were perfect. I work with disabled people and needed something that would give me good traction and warmth-these boots provided both! LOVE THEM!

This is my third pair of Beans snow sneakers. They are amazing! I work in a horse barn, I walk alot both in the barn and with my dogs. A LIGHTweight boot is a MUST! for my lifestyle. I can not believe how light and springy these are, compared to normal workboots! I love love love them! If there was ONE thing I would be unhappy with, it is that they do not hold up in the barn situation, so I need to buy a pair a year. However, I wear them daily, at least 8 hours a day, so these boots work hard!!!

I was hesitant to order online due to reviews I read for sizing in the high velcro style. I am slightly over a 9 so sometimes I have to do 9.5 which are loose. I had to try them at a store.
I tried on a 9.5 with athletic socks and they were painful around the ankles. I tried on a 9 in the low tie style and they were actually bigger. I tried the high velcro in a 10 and they were a perfect fit but were a bit too tight with heavy socks when I got home. But you don't need heavy socks. These proved warm and wonderful when we had -19 degree windchill with below zero temps. Good traction and fairly easy on and off. I wouldn't hesitate to get another pair but I would advise anyone looking at these for this year to be prepared for a size that you don't normally wear.

These are the best winter shoes ever. It's hard to find a shoe that is pretty much waterproof (I sometimes have to walk through shallow creeks) and yet comfy to walk in. These are great! Easy on, easy off, fit great - my feet are wider than a B but I've seen wider feet. I was concerned that the D might be too wide, but no problem. Based on previous reviews I got a size 7; usually wear a 6 1/2 or a 7. I even fell in the creek once and only the foot in the shoe that got completely submerged got wet. I've worn them with thin and thick socks, both work just fine. I love these shoes!
