We combined the warmth of our premium winter footwear with the softness and comfort our premium slippers to create these luxurious boots. Made of genuine sheepskin shearling, you'll feel nothing but plush, insulating warmth from top to toe the moment you slip them on. The shearling-lined footbed naturally wicks moisture and fends off winter cold. The soft, sueded upper is treated to resist stains and repel moisture so they keep their goods looks longer. Supportive EVA wedge gives outstanding cushioning. Finished with a chain-tread rubber outsole for dependable traction. Imported (fur Australia). Fit best with midweight socks. Half sizes order up.

Bean shearling boots for their warmth and style. Even in deep snow and cold slush, our feet stay dry and warm, as if we were wearing cozy slippers. What a treat on the playground at recess! I hope L.L. Bean will introduce black shearling boots for us ladies in the fall of 2010 . . . . January 27, 2010

Before I got these boots, I was in the habit of wearing heavy wool socks everywhere. One time, I wore heavy socks with these boots to a hockey game and I ended up taking the socks off halfway through because my feet were so warm. April 9, 2013

The expected size in fact fit perfectly, but the quality of the stitching, the material and the "dying" of the fur inside of the boot were very inferior and disappointing. I love my UGG boots so much that they need to be replaced for next year so gave these a try. The quality, however, was not at all comparable, altho the cost was similar. It feels sad to give LLBean a poor review. March 13, 2013

Not in these. The lambs wool is soft and the color Black Coffee matches my long down coat. I usually wear a 8 1/2. I ordered a 9 and they fit perfectly, even with wool socks on. Thank you LL Bean! I figured it was time for a real pair and got her these. She absolutely loves them. I sprayed them right away with a waterproofing spray. Didn't affect the color or feel of the boot at all which was great. They keep her very warm. Not a boot you want to wear around if you are going to be spending a lot of time indoors. If you like these for the look then they are not for you. If you want look and function then this is the boot of this style to buy. February 20, 2013

My feet are the happiest they've been during the winter in 30 years. These boots keep your toes toasty and I no longer wear my slippers outside since I can bear to change into these boots. I wear a size 9 shoe, but these boots are the perfect fit a size smaller. They run large - even if you plan to wear socks with them (which you don't need to). January 28, 2013
