Rated 4 out of 5 by clune Warm and waterproof. Quality.
I am 5'4" and 135 lbs. The large fits. The length is right for me-- usually a 29" inseam. These pants tend to run shorter in length and smaller in size. They wash and dry beautifully. I've worn them running in driving rain and they are definitely waterproof. I've worn them recently in 15 degree weather and they were warm. They serve the purpose for which I bought them: cold and/or wet weather active-wear. The only reason I would not rate them a 5 are because of size issues.

The pants are not comfortable and knees do not move well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by LLBeanShopper71 Great cold weather running pants
I have been looking for a pair of running pants for cold weather running and these turned out to be perfect. They keep me warm on cold runs but also are breathable and moisture wicking. Highly recommend.

Great winter tights, feel great, too; look to be flexible for winter sports. As others have recommended, ordering a size up may be best.

love them, the feel of the fabric is awesome. Like the zippers and the reflective piping. They are made a little short, and I am a solid medium, which felt too small, especially if I wanted to layer. Went with the large, a bit big, but they still work. Should be made in tall sizes!

These are nice weight and slim fitting, should be perfect for snowshoeing and cross country skiing. I ordered the larger of two sizes, being unsure which would be better, and the larger size fits perfectly, including a nice long leg.

I am 5'11" 170 lbs. Ordered women's lg and sadly, will have to send back because the 30" inseam is too short for my height. The rest of the fit was great. I will try a men's medium & see how that goes as I continue my search for the perfect winter tight.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Alicemarie Extremely comfortable!
I wear a size 8-10 & found L fits more comfortably than M. Quality is remarkable! Strong, durable fabric & excellent construction & features. The zippered leg provides a sleek fit for biking. They're so comfortable I'm tempted to wear them for everything I do.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jerseybean Warm. Allows For Great Movement. No Pockets.
Normally wear a small, but opted for medium, which made it a little looser around butt & midsection w/o looking like baggy sweatpants. Extra room enables tucking in extra layers & thermal bottoms if I need them since I haven't tested them yet in ultra windy conditions. Otherwise, seem warm enough once I get going showshoeing. Drawstring waist allows to cinch tighter.
Smooth non-pilling fabric sheds water. Zippered ankles/calves really hug bottom of leg and feel secure & warm. Good for sticking inside boot or covering w/gaiters unlike bulky snowpants. It does give them a bit of a riding pant/jodphur-like appearance. But not unattractive at all.
Extremely articulated knees makes for terrific ease of movement. Only downside is no pocket(s) except for tiny inside key-pouch at waistband.
Look forward to wearing them on next outing.

I love these tights for cross country skiing though had to go up a size. I generally wear one pair of lightweight polypro under them, but my usual size medium was still too tight, even without the poly underneath. Now that I have the bigger size I am finding them super comfortable and I really like the look of them.
