I had chosen to purchase this Giro helmet because my husband was so happy with his Giro Indicator helmet, and I'm glad I did. I have had this helmet for almost a year now and have used it on many bike rides with different terrains, including gravel, pavement, and off-road trails with lots of rocks and bumps. The helmet stays in place no matter how many bumps I ride over. It provides a comfortable, lightweight fit on my head and the air vents provide great ventilation. I especially like the Acu-Dial system for a quick fit adjustment, and its location works perfectly for me to still have my hair pulled back in a ponytail for rides.

I wore this on a 30 mile ride over the weekend. It was comfortable and cool, despite temps in the 80s. The fit was better (snugger) than my old Bell helmet and it is also much lighter. The price was very reasonable. I am very happy with it.

I replaced this new helmet for one that I had had for over 10 years. Wow, what a difference. It is lighter, better fitting, and cooler. Very easy to adjust.

Received my Skyla helmet today, tried it on and it was PERFECT. It was light, compact and sat comfortably on the crown of my head. I couldn't even feel it while wearing it. I strongly recommend this helmet to those ladies with smaller head (size small hats) or older teens. Very stylish and functional, a far cry from bike helmets in my childhood.

Purchased the Acadia Bike & needed a helmet. Read the reviews (from this & other sites) & decided that this one was perfect for my small-boned, slim, 5'3" frame. Although some reviewed it as "small & looks like a kid's helmet", in my case, this is not true. Measured my head as directed on the Giro website & tried my husband's Giro Universal Fit helmet. Just too big & gawky-looking no matter how tight I made it. This one is about 2" smaller all around, fits perfectly, looks pretty & it matches my white LLBean bike! Perfect!

Love, love, love this helmet!! I have a small head, and finally, this is a helmet that fits me comfortably. The easy adjustment really works! I like the coverage, especially to the back of the head. Any woman who has struggled to find an "adult" helmet that is small enough will be pleased with this helmet. And it looks cool too!

I came in for a pair of shoes. (did not find what I needed)
and left with this wonderful new bike helmet. I fits perfectly. I am so happy I bought it.
Do you know that bike helmets dry up in five years and need to be replace? I did not know this, but because of the helpful LL Bean bike expert I now have a safe protective helmet.

Easy to adjust and very comfortable. It's the only biking helmet I've ever bought so I don't have anything to compare it to, but it works just like I want it to!

The printing of the helmet is very cute but the size is quite small. It ought to be girl helmet, not women helmet.
