I bought this puzzle for a puzzle fanatic, and she assembled it in 4 hours time, loving every minute of it since it was so personal. It is now framed and on her wall!

Love the topographical map of where I live. The 4 star rating is because a local church is wrongly named on my puzzle. The puzzle makers have a St Jacob Church where there is a St James Church (on Cheviot Road in the White Oak area...in case the puzzle company reads this). Will not ask for new puzzle as I do not want to put the puzzle together again. Am going to have my puzzle glued together and framed! Overall, it is a very nice puzzle.
If this ends up being a second review for the same item. It is because I thought I "lost" the first review in cyberspace!

This is a great idea, but it was not executed correctly. We had fun putting the puzzle together, but realized early in the process that the makers had missed the mark by over 6 miles from our home. So while we recognized the roads, rivers, etc., they were quite a distance from our home which is on the Chippewa River and we would have enjoyed the product more if it in fact showed our surroundings. Google Earth and Google Maps locks into our location in northern Wisconsin with great accuracy, but the manufacturers of this puzzle must have used a different mapping system. Our GPS coordinates were nowhere to be found within the puzzle. Plan to order a corrected version of the puzzle.

The good news is it's small enough to frame. The bad news is it's REALLY small and so is the print! Make sure you have your magnifying glass ready! Still very cool. I will purchase it again as a gift for another.

Now this is silly, but the box was very small and no real indication as to what this really was. I am giving it as a gift and feel I will have to explain that it is their neighborhood. Doesn't look like the price I paid. Hopefully, it will be a nice looking puzzle when done. Generally very disappointed.

I thoroughly enjoyed assembling this unusual puzzle - it was more challenging than I expected. Fun, educational and decorative when completed, seemed a shame to take it apart. Well enough made for repeat use.

My wife and I are both avid puzzlers and received this as a gift from her parents when we bought our home 6 years ago. We just put it together and had so much fun seeing how much our tiny town has changed in recent years. We're unsure when the map used was last updated, and many new housing developments aren't listed. I greatly enjoyed seeing what existed before we moved here and seeing the history of the town. We disassembled it, as we would like to put it together again...not sure it would be as nice hanging on a wall...that's not what puzzles are for!

It was not what I expected. It was a map and nothing like my friend received. Hers was a satilite picture of part Canal Winchester, Ohio. It had a green background and you could see where a lot of places are located. I was very disappointed in the map one that I received for my son-in-law. You need to let people know it is a map and not a picture of part of the town. Sorry, I was not happy with it when he put it together.

I love the satellite puzzle I received at Christmas. Difficult (we live on a 27 hole golf course with lots of trees and water) but well worth it. I tried to order one for my daughter 3 weeks after receiving mine and found out the satellite version is no longer available. PLEASE LL BEAN, bring the satellite version back!

This is a nice puzzle. However the picture of our town was 30 years old. Our town has grown and changed a lot in those years. We thought it would be a fun puzzle to show our children their town and have them find different things in the town. Since the picture was so old there were very few things on the puzzle the children know. I think for the price we should have gotten a more recent picture.
