I was hesitant to order these because they come only in med-tall, not tall, but listened to the reviews where people were saying they fit long and decided to give them a try. They fit great, the med-tall is long enough (I usually prefer a 34" inseam) and I personally like the wide leg bottom.

Rated 2 out of 5áby GrananPDX Tough to hem a cuff with zipper
I hadn't really thought through the zipper at the hem, apparently for ski boots, and I almost always need to shorten slacks. So this order was a bummer. Precision length matters on this item of clothing.
Also the fabric isn't especially hefty or warm for wearing on a snowy cross country route. Presumably you'd wear tights, long underwear or leggings underneath. Think about that when you pick the size.

These pants are way too baggy at the ankles, so I will be returning them. Otherwise, they are nice pants.

Rated 2 out of 5áby EthansNana Pants run too long
These truly are beautiful pants - well made and lovely fabric. Sadly they run too long, even though I'd ordered petites for my 5'4" frame. Impossible to shorten due to placement of zippers at bottom of the pant legs. Ordinarily, pants I order from LLBean in petite have correctly fitting inseams for my height.

Rated 3 out of 5áby Ginko Nicely made, but too long
really well made but although listed as petite with inseam of 28 they were too long and I measured inseam as 29. They were so nice otherwise that I would have tried to hem them, but not clever enough to handle the zipper pant legs.

Rated 2 out of 5áby suzzee sizing bad
I liked the material these pants were made of and wanted them for bike riding they are well made except for the sizing. I bought the 12 petite my normal size but these pants were so tight in the body and baggy in the legs they did not look right at all so I returned them. I hope they fix the sizing.

Wonderful pants for outdoor activites. They run a little long for me but fit beautifully otherwise. Well constructed, attractive look!

Rated 3 out of 5áby Riya A pricey pair of pants with poor construction!
These Northport pants are an attractive pair of pants with a poor fit. The pants were advertised to be for petite women, but I disagree. At just over 5 feet tall I require a 26 inch inseam. However, these pants had about a 30 inch inseam. I often have to shorten the pants I purchase. This was not an option with these pants as the lower legs contained zippers which ran all the way to the base of the pants legs making alterations of the length too much work. Another problem with the pants was the short rise with an overly bulky seam in the groin area of the pants. I was very disappointed with the pants and returned them. I think
LL Bean should include more information about the inseam length of a pair of pants in the online descriptions. If I had known the actual inseam measurement of these pants I would have known not to purchase them. I also think LL Bean should offer pants in various inseam lengths as every one who wears a particular pant size for their waist and hip does not have the same size leg.

Rated 1 out of 5áby 6543 Runs smaller than other LLBean favorite fit pants
LL Bean's size 6 favorite fit Bayside twills and cords are my everyday essential pants for work, so I thought the Northport pants in a size 6 would be a great choice for casual wear. Unfortunately, the sizing and cut are completely different. The size 6 Northport pants were so small that I didn't think a size 8 would fit either, so I just returned them.
