These days with bulky car keys, cell phones, and other paraphernalia, even women need decent sized pockets. I work in a school and keep my purse locked up, so without large, sturdy pockets, I would have nowhere to keep my school keys, and other items I need during the day. Thanks, Bean! March 7, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5�by RowaninFrance Great pants marred by fit I ordered two pairs of jeans and a pair of these cords which were brought over to me in France by a friend. The jeans fit perfectly, but these were so loose in the waist from the beginning that even a belt can't keep the crotch from slipping halfway to my knees. I wonder if this was a defective elastic application. Otherwise they're great pants, very comfortable, nice cut. I just keep washing them in hot water hoping they'll shrink. March 7, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5�by maper Stretch bayside corduroy pants Waistband is bulky. Fabric is good quality. The length shrank some after washing which was good for me, as they were a bit long before. I have decided that although I am chunky, I don't need the curvy. Hard to find the right fit in petites but I am glad to have some cords for the season. January 30, 2013

Rated 4 out of 5�by Miro Poor zippers The zippers are a problem in that the tabs eventually get "lost" in the bottom where there is no "stop". Can no longer wear them then. Otherwise I like the pants a lot. I have started returning them no matter how long I've had them because they all have had this problem. Then I start on a new pair. January 15, 2013

I have recently lost weight and am pretty much buying a new wardrobe. I wasn't sure about size, and these would probably not fit if it weren't for the elastic waist. They wash well and come out off the dryer needing very little touch up. Probably will get another pair to add to the 2 I already have. January 2, 2013
