As a sufferer of Raynaud's Syndrome, where my hands can get so cold that they turn purple, I needed a good pair of warm gloves to keep my hands comfortable.
These gloves certainly are warm. I normally wear two pairs as I walk along the water in this cold weather, these gloves alone keep my hands nice and warm.
Easy on and off but I too find them a bit bulky. Fine when I'm walking alone, but when with my dog I need to be careful to make sure I"ve got a good grip on the leash.
I am pleased with this purchase and I believe I'll be wearing these gloves for a long time.

The liner has the sleazy feel of Microfiber Cleaning Cloth.
It must have a lot of chemicals, because when I took the gloves off, after wearing them for 20 minutes, my skin had a horrific dryness.
I guess since polyester doesn't wick off the sweat, they douse the liner with chemicals, to artificially dry out the skin.
So why don't they use COTTON??? It breaths. (obviously, polyester is cheaper - but we don't wear polyester socks for a reason.
It would be nice if they offered a pair of heavy winter gloves that were actually healthy, with natural materials.

Rated 5 out of 5 by RayZ Warm and windproof
The gloves are warm, rugged and windproof. Even on the coldest days, the gloves are toasty warm and flexible to do winter tasks. A great pair of cold winter gloves.

I purchased these gloves in October 2014. They fit well but are not warm at all. Even a 32 degrees my fingers get cold quickly. The palms are comfortable just not fingers and thumb. Would not recommend them to anyone. Very disappointed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kleenex55 Size fits big
I've not had a real chance to try these gloves too often for I ordered them in a Large (according to the size chart) and they're too big. I went to get a smaller size, but already the Medium in both colors are sold out! I'm not sure what I'll do now seeing all the other warm gloves cost twice as much. Perhaps I'll have to wait until next winter to get warm gloves from LLBean.

Rated 3 out of 5 by zzLynn Just Wouldn't Keep My Hands Warm
I really wanted to like these gloves. Since we hadn't had a particularly cold day, I decided to try them out a walk when it was 35 degrees. I just could not get my hands to warm up. In fact, my hands were warmer out of the glove. The gloves are well made, fit well, and have a nice lining. I know these gloves work for others who find them quite warm, but sadly they did not work for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by wintergold perfect warmth and functional
Made for cold days and when warm fingers are a must. Able to handle most items while wearing in sub zero weather. Gloves stay on no "missing glove" from taking them off and on!

I received these same gloves as a gift for Christmas one year. This year I bought them for a family member and they are just as warm and well made as mine. Great product.

I have arthritis in my hands and needed a warm pair of gloves to
wear when I take my dog for a run in the woods. These do the trick, the only thing is they are a little bulky when I have to put her on a lease. Otherwise, I love them!!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by katie460 Fingers too long
I have long fingers to begin with but even the small leaves an extra 1/4 to 1/2 inch of space at the tip of my fingers. Gloves are warm and work for certain things so I will keep them however I was disappointed they don't sell an XS. If you have small hands, I would avoid buying these if you plan to use your hands for working or other activities. If wearing to watch a game or just stay warm outside they work great.
