Rated 5 out of 5 by AussieDogMom Great value, nice product
Wore my gaiters for the first time this week (not much snow this year). I wore these over a pair of fleece lined jeans and my insulated boots. Loved them. Have to say though that I am fairly slim otherwise they would be a bit tight--they barely fit around my insulated boots, and were just right around my calves wearing the bulkier jeans, no room to spare. I purchased a size medium.

This can't be as helpful as I would like since I haven't worn them, just checked and looked them over. I had another pair for at least 20 years and one of the hooks was a problem. These appear to be very well made and easy to put on. I expect at least another 20 years of wear. LOL! That would put me well into my 80s!

Rated 5 out of 5 by CrazyJane Trendy Dog Walking Gaiters
I purchased these gaiters because the bottom of my trousers would get muddy and wet when walking the dog out at the forest preserve. They work great for keeping my pants clean, and they are easy to put on. What I did not bank on is that they actually look trendy and sporty, even though they did not look so online, and were the cheapest pair LLBean had - Bonus!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Zeezee1 Really good Gaiters, but...
These Gaiters seem well made, and I'm glad I bought them. Two comments, however: first, while trying to put them on the first time, I had trouble with the buckle that holds the strap that goes under the boot. The "tongue" of the buckle came off (I can fix it, but things just shouldn't break the first time you use them -- even minor things.) Second, there is no "easy on - easy off" option for these gaiters. There are straps, buckles, velcro and hooks that must be fooled with each time you put them on. My last pair of gaiters had many adjustments too, but they also had a zipper up the side so that once you got them adjusted the first time, you could put them on, zip up the zipper, and go. (Those lasted 35 years!) OVERALL, I THINK THESE GAITERS ARE A GOOD VALUE FOR THE MONEY, AND SEEM LIKE THEY WILL LAST. They are fine for those of us who are confronted with the occasional snow storm. Not so great for those who might be needing them every day in the winter.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MountainHiker Ideal midweight gaiter
The gaiters are easy to put on, easy to clean, and perform very well for all my hiking needs. They are not the sort of heavyweight items one might want for serious mountaineering and snow work, but they are perfect for the sort of hiking and snowshoeing I do. Given the moderate price, they are a real bargain.

They are a little complicated, but that is the way gaiters are. Can be adjusted to fit well. Just as portrayed.

Purchased these before a winter vacation in Maine - used them while hiking, snow-shoeing and crosscountry skiing. Very comfortable and kept my legs dry!

The delivery time was perfect for snowshoeing in Michigan. The lightweight and waterproof combination was good protection in the deep snow. The features made putting them on and staying on very easy and functional
