Will definitely hold alot of hunting gear. I really like the design of the backpack. Nothing that I don't like.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Dwitt2n camo day pack
I had a blaze orange one that I use for deer gun season - perfect size, zippered compartments, external pockets. It made sense to also get a camo one for bow - and I'm using it as a carry on (and day pack) for an upcoming caribou trip to Quebec.

This bag functions as expected. Love it so far. My only complaint/recommendation is to have a pocket for a water bladder...

I have not used this yet for hunting season. Looking over the item and wearing it I give it high marks. Very simple design and made very well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by 2as1 Great Day Pack
Although we are not hunters, my husband and I like this day pack. It is different than most packs, which makes it easy to find if mixed among other packs. The construction is sturdy, the straps padded well, and it has just enough pockets for smaller items.
In short a perfect day pack for us.

Rated 4 out of 5 by jp94 Great Deal
I have used the pack on several early season hunting trips this year. It has held up great and is everything LL Bean said it was. It fits great and hauls a lot of stuff for those long days of backpacking in the mountains looking for bears. Would have rated with 5 stars but I have only had it for 3 weeks but it is doing great so far.

Rated 4 out of 5 by irishduckhunter Good piece of equipment
I was looking for a rugged pack for field use, primarily for waterfowl and turkey hunting. I compared a few other brands but liked the LL Bean model best.
The waterproof and durable fabric was a key factor. Also, the ease of use associated with the simple, one buckle fastner as opposed to leaky zippers played a role. I did not give five stars because the shoulder straps could have been padded a little more compared to the competition. All in all, I am very satisfied with this purchase.

I really like this backpack. It has plenty of room, quiet and comfoertable. It would be five stars if the waist belt was a little longer. With winter clothes a little on the short side. Why not come up with some sort of extention?

Rated 4 out of 5 by CentralPAoutdoors The perfect pack...almost!
Agree with iceauger's review. The waist belt is too short and I'm not sure it's actually needed, though a nice feature. I am a 38"waist and it just buckles over a sweatshirt. No way this is going around me with a coat on. The shoulder and sternum straps are very generous in length. Other than that, this is a fine pack. Upon receiving it, I packed it with my usual cold weather gear and had room to spare. It is comfortable and carries very well. The pack profile fits inside my body width, so I have no "overhang" to catch or snag while meandering through the woods. The side pouches are great for gadgets and/or a couple of water bottles. The hood compartment is a nice feature, as well. Aside from the waist belt issue, this is exactly the type of pack I?ve been looking for.
