This is a great shirt. I love pinwale corduroy shirts for winter wear. The fabric is excellent quality. This beautiful shirt fits great, feels great on and washes up very nicely. Bean has not run this shirt in a while and they have run out of some sizes and colors this season, but for good reason. I will buy it again. For the more trim guys, this shirt may not fit, it is full cut and fits accordingly.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Iowabiologist Tall size not truly tall
So disappointed upon ordering this nice corduroy shirt for my slim 6'4" son in a Tall size Medium and have the sleeves be way too short. The sleeves measure 34 inches-- that is NOT a tall sleeve length!! The body fit nicely and was long enough so, please, LL Bean company, revisit your sleeve lengths on Tall sizes!

Rated 5 out of 5 Great Sizing of a Great Shirt
I have 2 of these shirts and I'm very pleased with the colors and especially the sizing. I usually take an extra large but with this shirt, I can wear a large, and it feels very roomy and comfortable. The colors are beautiful and the corduroy is extremely soft to the touch. I highly recommend these shirts--keep the colors coming!! How about Purple!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by BeanOrNothinAtAll No Debate: The Best Corduroy Shirt Made
Substantial, soft, and well stitched; a rare three-way combination. I have never owned a corduroy shirt that possessed all three of my quality benchmarks for any corduroy product. Perfect for layering as well. The collar and buttons are excellent. If this is offered in flannel, it just might become an all-time favorite for me alongside the Hurricane Shirt during fall and winter months. I've never been disappointed in Bean's cold season offerings. Never. They understand the concept of how to merchandise a warm product. It just makes a lot of sense how these products are constructed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by swabbiee Comfortable Shirts
I've purchased at least four of these over the last couple years. My most recent purchase was Dec 5.
I bought two (red and walnut). As I've lost some weight, I went from a tall 2XL to a tall 1XL.
The latest shirts seemed softer and even more comfortable than previous purchases.
The sleeves aren't long enough. As I sit here and type this (wearing the red shirt) the cuffs look about 1 1/2" too short to me. I never noticed this as an issue with the 2XL size. I haven't bought a shirt with measured sleeves for years but would get a minimum 37 inch.
I don't know why there is a difference in the softness or sleeve length. It appears to be the same model. I checked the VN number on the tag (vendor number?) and they are the same. All say made in Sri Lanka.
I haven't had these long enough to know how durable they are but the older ones look fine after several years of wash and wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Neils Great great shirt....fantastic
This shirt goes against what most other makes are doing...thinning the fabric. The Shirt has fantastic fabric and great fit. The colors are even more vibrant than pictured here. There is nothing negative I can say about it. It is expensive on face value compared to others perhaps but it is worth it IMO since the quality is there. Good job Bean!

Rated 5 out of 5 by Catechumen Soft, Velvety Goodness - Great Shirt
I'm wearing a Camden Corduroy shirt right now - just received it three days ago and it's the eighth one I've purchased in the last 3 years. I have all the solid colors (except Khaki, which seems a bit blah for my taste ? especially because I tend to wear these with chinos# and the one I'm wearing now is the plaid version #which is a great looking shirt# which I think was introduced just this fall. I like these shirts so much, I ordered another plaid shirt and have two solid colored shirts in reserve #i.e., still wrapped in cellophane in my closet# in case L.L. Bean stops making these.
First, let me say - I owned a couple of Bean corduroy shirts from circa. 1996 that I, ahem, outgrew with age and easy living. Contrary to certain trends at Bean ? in my opinion, these new shirts are superior to the old offering that I purchased from Bean all those years ago - nicer fabric and a little dressier (e.g., gauntlet buttons).
This shirt is simply perfect, in my book. The fabric has the perfect thickness - offering warmth against the chill. The fabric is very soft and plush and, except for the Mallard Blue #which, to my eye, has a slightly weathered look - though attractive), holds very vibrant and rich colors. The wale width is great ? not too thick nor too thin - and it gives this shirt the kind of soft velvety texture that can make corduroy such a pleasure to wear. I?ve had corduroy shirts from other makers where the fabric was so wimpy and thin that the placket wrinkled and they were just a mess after washing ? not these.
When I first ordered one of these three years ago, I was so impressed by the quality of the fabric that I?ve not bought corduroy shirts anywhere else; I?m at a loss as to how paying more for a corduroy shirt could get me anything nicer. Now I don?t wear these all the time and I do have a certain number in ?rotation,? but so far, even my oldest of these shirts still holds its color and looks vibrant and new.
I would like to see Bean expand the color options. I?d like to see a soft yellow, a kelly green shade, and maybe even a purplish hue would be nice. Some different plaid/tartan options would be great too ? a Lindsay, Dress Gordon, Dress Stewart, etc. would make pretty interesting options and, if offered in the right colors, would be in my closet yesterday.
I fell in love with corduroy shirts when I bought my first one in 1989; I?ve been wearing them ever since ? and I think these may be the best I?ve ever owned. Homerun for Bean.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MNrodent quality construction, substantial weight fabric
Probably one of the best shirts L.L.Bean offers. I have had one for a year now and recently ordered another. Very comfortable and good fit. Durable and launders well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by SedonaHiker Well worth the money!
This shirt is a bit pricey but well worth the money. The weight of the material is very substantial - well suited for the late Fall and Winter months. One of the heaviest corduroy shirts I have ever purchased. Colors are clear and bright. A great shirt to dress up or down. I will probably wear it with khakis but it would look fine with a pair of your favorite jeans. If you like corduroy shirts then this one is for you. Maybe next year it will be offered in multiple colors.
