The sweater is beautiful, soft and very well made. The spruce heather is a lovely color; sweater could be worn for casual, sport, or with a business suit; seems totally versatile. .
The only problem was deciding on size - we really need something between Medium and Large; but decided on the medium so it would look trim. If you plan to wear it over a heavy shirt then opt for the large.
This is one of the best quality cashmeres I've bought from LLB (and I have ordered quite a few over the years) ; I couldn't be more delighted.

I saw this sweater come up on the 2 X Deal of the Day and then ordered it in blue heather. Suzanne, the post office person, and I oh'd and ah'd over it. The color is absolutely lovely. I wore it out to dinner the day it arrived. The three ladies gasped when I took off my coat, what a beautiful color! Today, a friend that is in his 80's that was walking down the road, commented that it was a nice blouse when I stopped to talk to him. I'm very pleased with it. I bought it in a size large and does well over a turtleneck with lots of room to spare.

Not heavy and not too light. Runs true to size and arm length as well is perfect. Soft sweater - is great with jeans or business casual. Ribbed bottom is a plus and a nice feature. No question they are expensive. Will look to get more.

Shopped 2 local stores for V-neck cashmire sweater for office casual dress days and weekend wear. 1st find was $325 and "Made in China"; 2nd wasn't Chinese but cost $395! LL Bean had my size and color in stock and delivered well before Christmas. Have gotten several compliments on its quality looks and feel. Great deal on a great sweater from a great American company!

This sweater is worth the money but don't expect what you'd buy in Italy. The yarn is coarser than some cashmeres, although still quite soft and warm. The color is definitely not navy, but closer to royal blue. I like it but if I needed navy there is no way that I'd be satisfied.

Rated 4 out of 5 by wifey13 so far so good
I bought this for my husband for Valentine's Day. It is soft, light, and not clingy around the belly. I don't know how long it will last, though, because it seems a little thin. I worry about the elbows.

This a wonderful sweater. Very soft and fits very well. We are however waiting for v neck x lg tall lambswool sweaters for men at the holiday time in forest green. We used to get them from you. That is our wish and request and my husband's favorite.

Rated 4 out of 5 by willblake Great buy when on sale
I picked this up at one of the retail locations on a deep discount. For the money, it's a fantastic sweater and one of the few sweaters for which I consistently get compliments. No stretching or pilling after a half dozen long days at the office. The blue is much brighter on mine than in the picture, more of an indigo than navy. Fit is pretty trim for an LLB (I wear a medium in this sweater, and for comparison, typically a 39R jacket, 18" shoulders), and the length is good through the torso (no billowing) and sleeves (no cuff roll needed), and not too thick to wear beneath a sport coat. If the store had other colors in medium that day, I'd have bought them, and after a few wearings of this sweater, I sure wish they did.
