Love it, it's small, compact, light and air-tight. I have it loaded with dry flies it's just deep enough not to crush the hackles. Little problem it's a little hard to open....

This box is made of strong clear plastic which allows you to see the available choices before opening the box, the nibs on the surface help you to grip it securely with cold or wet hands, and it closes tightly and securely, so it is not likely to pop open unexpectedly. The spacing between rows seems to me best for holding flies sized 10 and smaller, not streamers or flies size 8 or larger. Without squashing flies together, I think this box will comfortably hold 80 dry flies on one side and 90-100 nymphs / emergers on the other side. Larger flies will overlap the rows and reduce the number it will hold. It is a very nice box and seems worth the price.

For the money it's not a bad deal.
It's strong, easy to open and I really liked the smooth corners.
I didn't like the little rubber "O" holes on the corners of the box.
I cut em off of my fly box.
I realize they are there to attach a cord or something to them - but by the time I fill this box up - it would be to heavy and bulky to hang around my neck..
This Fly Box belongs in your vest.

only complaint is it is very hard to get the sides open. Seem like you need to press so hard the clasp is going to break.

these are simple great little boxes. I have several of the larger sizes and a couple of their suitcases as a complete system. Wonderful and they float

These are the most practical and best organized fly boxes I've ever used. I finally have all my dries, nymphs and streamers organized so I can find them when I'm on the stream. By exchanging inserts, you can have the box set for dries, nypmphs or streamers. You can also replace an insert that has flies that are not being used due to a change of season or the water being fished and replace it with another that has the flies you're going to use and keep everything organized for when you want to switch back.
