Rated 4 out of 5 by avidbikers big air for a small pump
the pump works great, the attachment ties not so good. had to replace mine right off, as the first one came loose upon installation. they're designed to be reused, but are easily loosened by accident.

I just bought the Acadia Schwinn from ll Bean and thought I should add a pump. Is this as good as any? Topeak does make a lot of bicycle tools, building it's reputation for reliable tools. With the LL Bean backing, I feel confident that I can fill my tire if need arises. I like the additional hose, given a but more flexibility to holding the hose, and not worrying about getting pump in position to, "pump".
Good to have patches on hand for that unexpected "flat" I don't ordinary carry spare tubes with me.

In addition to my road bike, I often travel with my mountain bike, which needs tire changes depending on my chosen route for the day. I always take this pump on the road bike, and it's replaced the floor pump for my MTB road trips. The stroke volume's small for a mountain bike tire, but it does the job, and is just about perfect for the road bike, although it's a bit of work to pump over 100 psi. The flexible hose is a nice touch, and the gauge gets you at least in the neighborhood as far as pressure. I can also swap between valve types pretty easily, which makes it easy going from one bike to another, as well as allowing me to lend a hand if someone else has a puncture. Nice pump.

Rated 5 out of 5 by BikeTourist Great pump!
This pump is a key part of my gear on my touring bike. The slightly larger size and folding foot and handle design makes it easy to fully inflate my tires (80+ psi). The integrated pressure gauge is nice, though the psi indications are somewhat small and hard to read. The pump can be "set" to handle either Shrader or Presta valves via an internal configuration (no "converter" part that could get lost!). Highly recommended.

Rated 4 out of 5 by stevebikerider has a hose
have used all kinds of pumps from full frame size to CO2 carts. so far this makes the most sense. hose makes possibility of breaking valve stem less likely. easy switch between valve types. attachment on frame does take up some room, so may not be as attractive to the fast training rider.
