Awesome paddle. I love the smooth feel as it glides through the water. So well balanced, when you pick it up in the center it feels like nothing at all. A full half pound lighter than the Aqua Bound stingray paddle I've been using. Now, all I need is the perfect seat cushion...

This is an expensive paddle. Twice as much as the next best I purchased earlier from LLBean.
I think its worth the money. I paddled 14 miles and appreciated the light weight. Also appreciated the flutter free blade.

I have used the same paddle for 20 years and I learned with it. I took the new paddle for a week's vacation of lake paddling.
This paddle is lighter and shorter than my old one and I was not happy with it my first day or so because of the length, but as my trip went on, i got used to the new length and really enjoyed the paddle: it is feather light and easy to handle. The grip is the right thickness and shape to have been extremely comfortable during the whole week of paddling. Getting it together and apart were much easier than they were with my old faithful.
I believe the weight, grip, and the shorter length improved my stroke as I got used to it. .

I can't imagine a better paddle. It's the best of the best. I also have a Camano Carbon and the Kalliste is noticably lighter. It's swing and balance are awesome. Holding it puts a smile on you face that's hard to get rid of. It became my new favorite on first use.

This is my third paddle and the best yet! Plus I bought it during a 20% off sale. I no longer splash water into my kayak and it is nearly soundless. The only drawback is my previous one had a choice of diameters for smaller hands and this one doesn't, but the lightness certainly compensates.

As soon as the salesperson handed the paddle to me, I knew I would have to buy it, plus one for my wife.
I'm delighted with these paddles. They are unbelievably light. We used them for the first time on a two hour outing on Saturday, then for a 6.3 mile cruise on Sunday. They made for easy paddling.
When I was a youngster, some 60+ years ago, I was taught to paddle with stealth, as if I was a native American. I was told that every sound you make when paddling, is a waste of energy that could make your canoe (at the time) go faster.
These paddles allow one to be silent. They cut cleanly into the water and come out with no splash. Fantastic design.
They're not cheap, but if you can afford them, you will not be disappointed.
