Rated 5 out of 5 by BostonAdventurer Old School Camp Cookware
This is a high-quality set of camp-ware like our parents and grandparents had years ago. I bought them for their retro styling. The color and speckles are perfect, the plates are all perfect, and the quality is very high. I've seen cheaper sets out there, but they did not compare in quality.
The only down side is that there are these inventory tags put on each piece by the manufacturer that come off in millimeter pieces. I swear that they were put on with crazy glue! It took over an hour to get off what I could get off of them. I hate that! It?s not LL Bean?s fault because they didn?t make this set, but I wish someone would tell the producer that you don?t need inventory stickers in a sealed box!
Anyway, I would still buy this set. It?s awesome. You may want to soak them first to get the tags off.

We just used these on our camping trip to Yellowstone - and they worked just fine. Easy to clean, durable.

We purchased this set for our family for camping because it reminded us of the sets our families used when were kids. The set is really good quality, heavy duty (but lightweight), and washes up well. We like the design very much (very practical). We will be purchasing an additional set as we are a family of five, and this set comes in a 4 place setting. So that would be helpful - to be able to purchase individual pieces or place settings. However, I'm sure we'll use the extra pieces for family and friends who join us. Another LL Bean quality item - very pleased and highly recommend.

The enamelware is a nice weight, not cheap or flimsy. I was very pleased with the plates as they have a rim around them that makes the plate deep so your food does not fall off. I will be purchasing at least one more set very soon.
