Does not appear to be as well made as LL Bean's Rangeley bed. Was not as sturdy/solid as Rangeley bed after assembly and finish did not appear durable. Overall disappointed.

This product exceeds my expectation. Solid construction and simple clean lines. I searched all over for this. I put it together by myself. If I can do it any one can. I purchased the ful size and loving it.

I just put together the black twin bed, which was easy for me to do with the help of another person. I bought this for my 11 year old son's room, which is a smaller room and I didn't want it overpowered by large furniture. I also purchased the dresser. I can't be happier! The quality exceeded my expectations, and I think it looks amazing. If you are on the fence, I say do it. I don't think you will be disappointed.

This bed is of great quality and we are so pleased with it! This is even better than I expected!! Its beautiful and well made. We will definitely be getting another one!

I bought this bed for my 6 year old son's small bedroom. It is beautiful and looks nice with the oak trim in our home. It was easy to put together. I would buy this bed again in a heartbeat.

We got this bed in queen size for our teenager who wanted to upgrade from a single bed. My husband and I are NOT handy at all but we put this together in 45 minutes. The honey color is kind of on the red side, more than brown. We are using it with a boxspring and it does almost reach the footboard - but that works for us as he is so tall. Very pleased! Arrived quickly, within a week of our order.

We're redoing our daughters' room now that they're out on their own and wanted to replace their 2 twin beds with a full size and make their room a guest room. Have been looking at various beds for some time and decided on the North Haven as it gives us the option of using a box spring or not (at present we're planning on not).
My husband HATES to put kit furniture together as there are always too many pieces that fit different spots. Not so with this bed. He built the bed in less than 30 minutes and except for my confirming which way the side rails went, without assistance. The directions do suggest you have someone to help for one step and that's to have someone hold the side rail while you attach it to the headboard. He got around that by using some pillows and blankets to help prop the side rail.
The beadboard look is classic and the honey color is warm and soothing.

We are struggling with the height of the bed. We bought this as a first bed for our toddler and do recommend it, however, with the mattress and boxspring, the bed is too high (mattress is higher than footboard). Without the boxspring, our bed safety rail cannot be used as mattress sits down in the frame of the bed.
We have found a sealy box spring that is only 4 inches tall that we have on order. However this was a $90 solution that wasn't planned for.
Also, wooden pegs for screw holes do not staty put and gluing is not an option for us as we want to be able to adjust bed height as needed.
Assembly was relatively easy although we played with the bed height and different mattresses and box springs in our house to find the best fit so it took longer than most.
