The trim fit was perfect. Just bring it back... This fit balloons around the shoulders and the sleeves end up hanging long.

Great shirt except for this: the button-down collar is too short. Doesn't look right. No soft roll, no curve in the collar when you button the buttons. Too short, not long enough fabric in the

I like the quality of the shirt but the slightly fitted shirt is still too large.

Rated 2 out of 5 by molinyc Great looking shirt - but after 3-4 months - rips
This is a great looking shirt but the durability of the cloth is horrible - it has ripped - on three (3) seperate occassions - I was crazy to re-order it three times but my husband really liked it.
The rip occurs in the same place each time - in the back, just below his belt line - as he tries to tuck-in the back.
Time to look else where.

LL Bean customer service is unparalleled: I bought this item according to their size chart and it was huge, so I never wore it. A year later I stumbled across the unworn shirt in my closet and decided to call them to discuss their sizing -- they were extremely helpful and promptly asked me to return the shirt for a properly sized one, which I did (sans receipt). Not only was I stunned by their return policy and the patience and time taken by their customer care representative, but the replacement was perfect in all regards. Quite simply, they have won (yet another) lifelong customer.

It has a very nice firm feel and substance. Very comfortable, great casual shirt with jeans on a cool fall day. Great for a day off or business casual at the office. Looks crisp and sharp.

L.L. Bean Wrinkle-Resistant Classic Oxford Cloth Shirts are excellent; durable, comfortable, incredibly wrinkle resistant.
I regularly receive compliments when wearing one and whenever I'm asked who irons my shirts my answer is always the same...L.L.Bean.

I own 'wrinkle-resistant' shirts from Pink and Brooks Brothers. When I travel I MUST pull out an iron with those shirts, but that is not necessary with wrinkle-resistant Oxford shirts from LLBean. Simply hang the shirt in a steamy shower and let set overnight and in the morning one will have a perfect shirt. I just returned from a 19 day business trip to Europe. I brought with me two LLBean Oxford shirts, and I wore each shirt for 3 days (at different clients, so I could get away with doing that!). I've owned these LLBean shirts for nearly two years and I've worn them twice a month over that time. Not only do they perform well, they are extremely durable.

Rated 3 out of 5 by tradoxford almost great
I think the overall fit is nice. I hope LLBean takes into consideration adding some length to the shirt front/tail. When tucked in I noticed it is just barely beneath the belt line. If you're wearing low rise pants you'll have issues keeping the shirt neatly tucked. The back of the collar is quite short, so keeping the bottom of a tie from showing takes some convincing. Overall the quality is nice. After the first wash/dry the shirt came out looking nicely pressed which I liked. The fabric is a bit stiff, however, the Land's End no-iron Supima Oxford Dress shirts are much softer. This shirt has a nice collar roll for those who notice small details like that, and I would be a continued buyer if the shirt was lengthened so that it is easier to keep the shirt under the belt line.

Great shirt, but the two blues are virtually the same shade...what you call "french blue" is what every other color scheme calls plain-old, button-down oxford blue. A real french blue would be nice, or another color other than blue and slightly paler blue.
