I got this blouse to wear on a year long self supported bicycle tour. I think it will be perfect for protecting me from the sun as well as wearing while camping and using as a layer in cold weather. I like the big zip pockets. They are both big enough to hold a smartphone.

I love these Tropicwear shirts. I have at least five from prior years. Sadly, the changes made over that time for this shirt have not been good ones. The fit is less flattering and the plaid fabric is nubby, sort of like a seersucker. Not the case with the current Tropicwear solid colors, at least not yet. Also, the color on the plaid is harsh. If you like a textured fabric and heavy colors, this may work well for you. I sent this back immediately. I did keep the pink in solid - soft color and smooth fabric.
The changes LL Bean makes over time often seem to ruin a good thing.

Just returned from a vacation and loved having this shirt with me. It is comfortable, fits well, and is styled nicely. Finely a straight shirt tail that isn't below the seat. Thank you.

Doesn't fit as well as cool weave shirt but I can wear it over a t-shirt. The buttons are a bit difficult to button but I loved the blue plaid so keeping it.

LOVELY COLOR, FIT, MATERIAL STURDY & COOL. WASHES AND DRIES NICELY. GENERAL STYLE IS GREAT, EXCEPT FOR 2 FEATURES WHICH IS WHY I GAVE IT 4 STARS. FIRST, THE SLEEVE TABS ARE SECURED WITH A GROMMET WHICH IS MACHINE STAMPED INTO THE MATERIAL.
USUALLY, A BUTTON GRACES THIS SPOT. WITH A BUTTON, IF YOU ARE NOT A SLEEVE ROLLER, YOU CAN EASILY REMOVE ALL TRACE OF THIS FEATURE, WHICH IS NICE.
WITH THE GROMMET YOU ARE STUCK WITH THE SHARP SIDE OUTWARD ON YOUR SLEEVE AND THE SMOOTH BUMP ON THE INSIDE OF YOUR ARM. NOT TOO ATTRACTIVE. SECOND, WHAT DESIGNER PUT THAT ELASTIC STRIP MIDWAY ON THE BACK CAPE VENT? SO I CAN BE AIRBORN OR WHAT? A NORMAL SLIT VENTED CAPE BREATHES JUST FINE AND I DO NOT LOOK LIKE A CROSS BETWEEN BATMAN & SISTER BERTRILLE. FORTUNATELY, THIS FEATURE IS EASILY REMOVED WITH SCISSORS AND STITCHED SECURELY WHERE IT SHOULD BE.

The Tropicwear shirt is great in that it is very light weight and comfortable on the skin. Protects from the sun.
Delivery was super fast, I had my order in two days.

I love the color of this shirt. However when I washed it the beautiful plaid became all puckered. I had followed all laundry directions. The warm Iron did not even help. Looks like I slept in it.. I did order a yellow & white shirt and they wash and hang dry beautiful.

I can no longer be exposed to sun so I purchased this shirt. It is extremely comfortable and much cooler to wear than many of my other long-sleeved shirts.

I bought this especially for sun screening. I like the fact that sleeves could be different lengths. It is comfortable to wear and easy to wash and dry without wrinkles. It made a nice beach cover up over my bathing suit with a pair of shorts.
