I have the older version of this shirt. It is horribly unflattering, large and boxy and shapeless. It was hiding in the back of my closet but I needed the pockets, I have found they are wonderful for holding the treats for training my dogs. I can load up one pocket with treats and the velcro on the pocket keeps them from falling out when I bend over to hug the dogs. I can put my iphone in the other pocket if I am not wearing pants that have a pocket. The new shirt is a huge improvement. Well made, actually looks nice on, washes well. I am back to buy a second one. Thank you LL Bean for redesigning this shirt.

I am a Pear Shaped woman and most of LLBean's shirts do not work for me. If I get them to fit around my hips they are way to big in the shoulders, if they fit in the shoulders I cannot button them around my hip area. So, long story short I had to return the shirt.

This fabric is a bit lighter weight than the solid-colored shirts. Cool beyond belief. The yummiest material ever! The blue (only) plaid is rather masculine-looking. I wish it were offered in a somewhat more "girly" plaid or even a pastel print. It is also longer than it needs to be. Too long to wear outside the pants and hard to tuck in. Please make more plaids, checks or patterns. I highly recommend this shirt!

I really liked the shirt except for the size. According to the sizing chart it should have easily fit. The reality was that it was tight across the chest. I'm going to try the next size up, but it might be huge.

Although I had to return the shirt because it was too small, I still would recommend both the shirt and L L Bean to friends. The ease of return when an item does not suit gives me confidence as I shop with LL Bean. I'm sad that there was no larger size to re-order, but still rate the overall transaction as excellent.

I have several of the solid-colored Tropicwear shirts and love them but this patterned one is fantastic because it doesn't show the dirt or stains like the solid-colored ones can (if one has spilled something, etc). I travel extensively and use these shirts all the time. I wash them out overnight in the hotel sink. I thoroughly recommend them to everyone. They are comfortable in hot weather, look more dressy than t-shirt type tops and travel well (don't crush and dry quickly and don't need ironing).
Please bring in some other colors in the patterns so I can have some variety. Thanks!!

I bought this shirt and truly like the fabric. It is light weight and the fit is slimming, not boxy. However, I felt it ran small in the shoulders, and if I wear it for fishing, it may not be roomie enough for casting. However, as a shirt to just wear, it is nice. I would suggest size up if you have broader shoulders. Otherwise, it is a nice shirt. I gave it only 4 stars because of the sizing.

Great shirt, washes well, fits nice-though a little straight at the hips for my shape-pattern looks like searsucker so you don't notice the wrinkles. Really great for work, travel, or gardening-very versatile, need more colors in this one.

Took these on tropical vacation. Easy to pack, cool, dries quickly. They can look casual or can be dressed up with khaki slacks. Sizing comparable to other LLBean products.

This is a cute shirt and the fabric is nice. The fit is exactly as I expected. I am very pleased with it for very hot weather wear.
