This is a very flattering suit - the nicest I've worn in years. It also feels nice and is not at all flimsy or sheer. I bought the black.
Two notes in terms of fit. I am 5?10, slim with long legs, and bought the long. It is just long enough, but would not be long enough at this size if I were taller. I am also a DD cup. This is a soft cup suit with good support but the cups are, not surpringly, a bit smaller than I am. It looks fantastic on though.
It has a deep scoop back, which I haven't worn for probably 20 years, but looks great for behind.

I swim indoors in a salt water pool and have had several tank suits from Beans. I love the fit and comfort, but the suit fades noticeably along the seams after a few (4-5) wearings. There is a marked discoloration in both the blue and pink suits. I rinse suits after every wearing. Suits are not even exposed to direct sunlight. I have not had the geo print, but it seems to be my only review option. Beans is always wonderful about returning the suits, but my wish is NOT to return products, just to have one last for more than a few wearings. I buy several suits at a time and rotate them - so NOT to overuse anyone of them. So disappointed. Customer service said there are no other complaints like mine. Is that possible?

For 20 years, llbean suits ( one and two and skirted one piece)
are all just perfect. The colors, styles, fit, fabric, the whole total suit are just # 1.

I swim two or three times a week and this suit faded and lost its shape really quickly, even though I rinsed it well after each wearing. I've bought other Bean suits that held up well, so am not sure what the difference is. Hated to throw it away, but I looked like a sad-sack!

I bought the suit for chlorine resistance, but after only 10 times in the pool the color was striping around it: faded, pink, faded, pink. I am very disappointed in it. I think nylon or polyester suits would last longer and be more naturally resistant to chlorine.
I liked the way the suit looked and fit me until I wore it in the water a few times. I bought 2 and plan to send them both back and have rescinded my endorsement to my fellow water classmates.

I loved this suit when I received it. I am tall and it fit perfectly. I wear it two to three times a week for water exercises and have had it for only three months and the cobalt blue suit has faded so bad that it is not wearable any more.

I love these suits.. I wear them every time for water aerobics. I actually prefer this style.. as I wear an additional sports bra, easier to get the suit on - and matches the bra better... (altho I like the lap suit also). But, my last suit from Bean was fully lined.... (much warmer in the pool!). And, I REALLY appreciate lower coverage at the thighs (much more flattering and comfortable, and higher coverage at the bust - warmer too this way!
Bean, would please make these additions - then I will buy a few of these suits!! I love your clothes. TY.

I ordered 2 different sizes of the Sport Tank in 2 different colors. They are great suits and I found that one was the right size. I was surprised that what looked red was actually coral when it arrived. I glossed over the actual color name when I ordered so that was my mistake.

I'm a plus size, so buying anything over the internet can be a hassle. Just received my new black swimming suit, and I love it. Size is perfect, so you can trust the sizing chart. I have the blue suit ordered too. It's currently on back order, but I look forward to receiving it. These are perfect for any occasion, but I'm using them for water aerobics. Nice suit for the $$.

I watched the video ad for this suit, done by LL Bean with the woman who is a marathon swimmer, in her 50's, with a larger frame and not pencil thin. I am a woman in my mid 50's, I am short but definitely not pencil thin thanks to menopause and other factors and I HATE buying bathing suits. But we are off to Hawaii in a few months and I need a suit. Well, this suit is WONDERFUL. It fits, it looks and feels great and it covers my bottom without riding up. It is smooth to the touch and the straps do not dig into my shoulders. Frankly, the video was a great marketing tool and I am really happy with this purchase. So all woman out there who hate buying bathing suits like I do, try this one. It really is a great fit and most reasonably priced.
